Stopped in La Grange Ky. on the way to Florida. Our group really didn’t want to but could find nothing else in the area. Food quality has not been good on the last few occasions we have eaten there. Was warned not to try the gravy for biscuits and gravy but it came with most meals. The gravy was very thick, had no resemblance of sausage in it and tasted like liquid smoke was added for flavor. Two young healthy fellows next to us didn’t touch their gravy either. Tried to cut pancakes with my fork (you know, light and fluffy) but needed a knife to do this. Seems like they were heated in a microwave which made them tough. The biggest shocker was when we asked for omelets and were told they don’t offer them anymore. What breakfast place doesn’t make omelets?

Recovering from surgery... ordered online....Checked in for pickup order.. checked in again after 30 mins... called the restaurant who says... the order has been ready... I don't know why it wasn't brought out.. waited an hour all total.. huge salad... container of dressing was half full.. should have been 2 for this huge salad... and NO CHEESE!!

Worst service and food to date! When food finally came out there was no silverware for the next 10 minutes!!! By then food was cold. Missing items and tasteless steak. Worst experience.

Very nice waitress. Fast service. If you have gluten issues stay away. The most limited menu I've seen in a very long time.

Food is always good, but I didn't appreciate that I chose one location and they sent the order to another location. And it took them 15 minutes longer than they said to get an order of 2 salads to me.

I was there with my partner and many of the staff members treated my partner and I horribly, we were repeatedly called. "F*gs" and told we were "Satin" by the staff and got our food almost and hour after we ordered and it was cold when we received it. Honestly, I don't even think that it was worth going. None of the staff treated us with ANY level of respect and we had to repeatedly ask for certain things. Not nit-picking, I mean like silverware, our drinks, our food wasn't even warm when we got it. Never going again.

I’ve eaten at Cracker Barrel‘s all over the country and I’ve never experienced this kind of incompetent service. From having to ask for each piece of silverware, to having food served at different times for our family of 4, to no drink refills offered, to having biscuits brought instead of the requested cornbread and not rectified. The manager that worked the evening of 8/12/22 was also ineffective and incompetent offering just an apology. They truly no longer care about customer satisfaction.
