Visited the crackle barrel in league city Texas. Food was not good. Service was decent at first. They were very busy. I was served cold eggs. The side dish apple pie or something like that only had 3 slices of apple. Biscuit were bought to table at first but with no gravy. Gravy was dry and thick by the time it got to the table. Pecan pancakes were flat. But what really got me was the coffee. It was weak and watered down. If you put creamer it was so light looks like milk tea. It was horrible. I think I will now go to I hop now. I was so disappointed. It was not worth it. The service was not good because our waiter bought our food at different times. I still left a tip but was very disappointed. I will never go back. It was not like that a little over a year ago. It has gotten worse.

This is Saturday April 6th. Another couple of nice went out for breakfast for a birthday. Knowing we would probably have to wait a while because of the lines on the weekends. We waited 45 and then got seated and waited another 40 minutes for our food. We had breakfast with bacon and biscuits eggs and hash browns. The whites were runny, the bacon was so tough you couldn't even cut it with your knife and fork. It was unbelievable. All four of us complained but mostly to each other because lines checking out are all so long so we didn't want to slow down the lines for people to get out. Normally this Cracker Barrel has great service and great food but the last two times we've gone it's gone downhill dramatically.

Not being partial, but realistic! So I work at a Cracker Barrel have for 5 years now let me just say no food and beverage industry can keep employees these days because either it's going to be teenagers here entitled and aren't raising kids to know the value of hard work. Many of the reviews that I'm reading right now you didn't report your issues when you were at the restaurant but you're going to do an online review and blast the restaurant how are we or anybody else supposed to know you had an unpleasant experience if you don't say something we enjoy and encourage feedback and our store there's always going to be a bad seed planted at the farm somewhere and everybody knows that there's going to be times where you do leave unpleasant that's anywhere but if you don't give feedback while you're there I don't feel like you have the right to blast them on the Internet for the whole world to see especially when it's a reputable business that does take pride in their employees and their food in their presentation of that food ender store appearance I've been at Cracker Barrel for 5 years now almost my five year anniversary will be up at the end of this week and yes by all means bad people will come and go notice I said go but that's only when our guests decide to let us know they had an issue because there's going to be times where you can't babysit grown adults and watch their every move but it really irritates me to get on here and read reviews like this and like I said 95% of the time it's guess that did not give feedback after their experience we can't fix a problem if we don't know it's there so that's my rating and it's not just for Cracker Barrel it's for every restaurant in this nation if you want to see change you got to give that opinion you're giving now with all those Stars and negative feedback while you're there let the people know so they can address it the issue and fix it that I promise you the next time you go it won't be that way thank you that's all I need to say and that is my right I'm not employing this rating on behalf of anyone but me just for the record I have not been provoked or encouraged to say any of the above by any people or organizations simply put I'm speaking my mind just like you guys are and I'm trying to tell you change cannot take place when you don't know things need to change anywhere I just so happen to work in a restaurant and know how it is first hand thank you guys have a great day and next time you decide to go to a restaurant you may actually get a new employee be patient just like anywhere else and any other type of business people can have bad days you don't know who's having a worse today than you are don't be critical on everything but yes what is needed to be then speak up change it for the future

We've been here dozens of times and it got bad a few years ago and we quit going then it got better so we went again today. Got the meat loaf which was refrigerator temperature and obviously left over, the once great potato casserole was shredded cold potatoes in grease with no cheese, and the corn muffins were hard as a rock. Didn't complain as we were already running late but then spent 20 minutes waiting to check out with one lady taking that nlong to do three before me. She said they had a new manager and if so they'd better just shut this one down. With texas roadhouse opening and lots of other restaurants this one will fail. Never again. Wasted thirty dollars for garbage

Food fair. Not enough help. Cashier system chaotic. Because it took too long to pay I couldn't find waitress and people sitting at table. Because of that waitress couldn't get her tip

Visited Fayetteville Cracker Barrel store # CBO 717 3/22/24 3 PM good service from waiter the problem was the cashier she had no respect for me as I was paying for the meal She did not say How was your meal or How are you today /she did not say a word after I paid and was looking around the store saw her taking to another customer . this is bad customer service It only takes one bad apple to run down a business.

I purchased a gift card for a friend's 80th birthday for Cracker Barrel in Springfield, Mo in October 2023. They refused to honor the gift card and multiple attempts to contact customer service have been to no avail. They have my money and she never got her meal. Do not buy gift cards from Cracker Barrel!

Food was good server was new but did well but when you go to check out they want to set you there for 15 minutes asking you stupid questions charge you too much for your food as it is when I'm checking out I'm ready to leave pay my bill and go they want to do you want to leave a tip for your server I already did that at the table here please take a survey a short survey I ain't wanting to take no damn survey if I want to do that give me your receipt tell me it's on the back and if I want to go online I'll do it myself but I'm ready to go this is ridiculous that they have no sense of tying up your time they don't really care people need to boycott restaurants that like to do this take up your time or the restaurants pay you 20% off your bill for every question they ask that way they get you get paid for your opinion and your time or just take my money and let me go
