I am unhappy with this company. I had three false alarms. I'm getting almost $900 bill from ASO. I currently don't have a permit.. But they handle that the first year.. Heaven forbid they send a friendly reminder to customers saying it is our responsibility after the first year. Now service can't service why my alarms are going off because of no permit... But they can continue to charge me and send the police. I am livid with this company currently and will be looking to move business elsewhere. The doctors I work for also use crime prevention in our offices.. I will be letting them know the situation and I'm sure they will agree with me.

We built our house and modified our contract not to include the monitoring service. Later we signed up for the monitoring service with no contract. They filed our first contract and not the modified contract and are still charging us for the monitoring even though we told them the service is no longer wanted. Still trying to charge us! Would not recommend this company. Beware!!!

They attempt to take financial advantage of their customers with every possible opportunity. I recently received a bill for a technician visit (at at charge of over 100.00) after I had paid at the time of the visit with my credit card. The tech's "repair" still left the problem unsolved but I decided to deal with is opposed to paying another 100.00. They attempted to lock us into a 6 year contract when we were moving to a new home recently as well. Will certainly NOT use their services as soon as the contract is expired.

I have been reporting a problem with the alarm of my home and has been so difficult to reach somebody to come to my house and fix it. I am really not happy with the service. For the entire week leaving messages and who ever respond, tries to do something, that doesn’t work, from the phone.

I have unpleasant service with them. I have been try my best to reach them to solve the problem. The alarm system in my house gave us alarms indicating there is a breakthrough the garage door at midnight. One body was at home, so we had to call policeman to go there for a check. I got invoice statement for calling them to check the false alarm. The system gave too many false alarms that I got $140 fine for the false notification from local sheriff office. I did not see any intention from the center of Crime Prevention Security Systems to solve my issue so far. I wrote my experience here to warn other customers or potential customers.

Very overpriced for an extremely basic system with unsophisticated keypad. Locked into 3yr. Contract. Will go to something like Vivint once term is over..

None of the couple times that I needed help I was answered.

Worst security company I've ever dealt with. When I bought this house, the security system was already installed, but it never worked properly. Police were called many times due to the security system going off because of problems with the system. My neighbors weren't pleased at all, because they had to handle the situation since I hadn't actually moved in yet, & was 2 hours away from this house. The company was never able to successfully repair the original system, so, because I was under contract, I had to either pay a huge fee to get out of the contract, or have a new system installed. But to receive a decent price on a new system, I had to sign another contract that was much longer. I had no choice but to have a new system installed, or pay the unfair fee to end the original contract, when it was not my fault their system didn't work, or do without any security system. Of course, now I have to pay a much higher monthly service fee than before! I would not recommend this company to anyone!
