Lost my dog's heart medication
Lost my dog's heart medication. It "shipped" so they don't feel responsible to make it right. It is impossible to speak to a human being. I am complaining to my vet.

Over charging for pet meds. This is typical of everything going on in the USA currently. Covetrust charged me $142.00 for one box, 6 month supply for Advantage multi for dogs. Topical flea medicine. Its just like gas prices. Prices are sky rocketing because if Iran war. But oil companies are reporting record profits. This is common practice for food, fuel, everything needed to survive. Now it includes pet meds. How disgraceful!

Covetrus emails me discount offers ; when I place an order and the vet office does not approve the script for three weeks I get charged full price ; no discount. When I contact Covetrus and provide the order number and I’m then told they will credit my credit card but the credit for approximately $88 is not credited, then I get very dissatisfied and I document this and communicate this to the veterinarian office via email . I also document my experience with trust pilot and in looking at all the terrible reviews I tell the vet office to recommend alternate suppliers . After I interacted with Covetrus customer service & they tell me my cc will b credited; Covetrus is simply not a trust worthy business and simply does not honor their email offers . It’s a bait and switch tactic that is dishonest & disrespectful to customers. I will contact both the state of Maine BBB and Portland , ME of my experience with Covetrus .

Intentionally mislabeling content online to trick people. They label “doses” as “packs” and post pictures with labels showing “doses”, so it sounds like when you buy a pack, each pack comes with multiple doses. Nope. They intentionally mislead to rip you off.

I had set autoship to send me flea control every three months, Covetrus sent it to me once a month twice in a row. I canceled the autoship order, removed the prescription from my account, and even went as far as marking myself as an inactive client, and they still charged me $99 this month for flea control I do not need. Their AI assistant is functionally useless and cannot do anything to help you in situations like this. As of writing this review, the $99 has still not been refunded to my bank account.

This pharmacy is extremely unprofessional. Firstly, they shipped me a bottle of medication with tablets that were broken, crushed, and completely unusable. On a second occurrence, they shipped my medication order to a completely different client and in a completely different state than the one I reside in. That client called my actual veterinarian to let them know she received medication for my pet and it took three calls to Covetrus to solve the issue. Finally, they mailed me a replacement bottle of medication for the shipment of medication they neglectfully mailed to the wrong client and that bottle was from a completely different manufacturer compared to the numerous other bottles of medication that I received from them in the past, spanning over the course of 18 months. The pills in this new bottle, by this new manufacturer are significantly larger than the previous pills of the same medication. I give these pills to a small cat and these pills are sized for a dog or even a human. When I tried to contact customer service, the representative was unhelpful and suddenly went unresponsive when I asked for her to open a quality assurance claim. This pharmacy should not be used by anyone and are extremely disrespectful, lazy, and inconsistent. It is completely unacceptable that I had to contact your pharmacy myself to discover that my medication had been sent to another pet owner. A package containing my medication and personal information was placed in the hands of a complete stranger. This should NEVER have happened. The fact that I was the one who identified the error—not your pharmacy—makes this situation even more concerning. Had I not taken the initiative to contact your representatives, I have no confidence that I would have ever been notified that my medication and personal information had been sent to the wrong individual. Customers should not have to uncover serious errors involving their medications and personal information on their own. Your pharmacy has a responsibility to have safeguards in place to prevent these mistakes and to promptly notify customers when they occur. Calling this a “shipping label mix-up” does not adequately address the seriousness of what happened. This was not simply an inconvenience or a minor shipping error. Your pharmacy sent my medication to the wrong person, exposed my personal information to a stranger, and failed to identify and communicate the mistake until I brought it to your attention. That is a significant failure in your processes and is completely unacceptable. Furthermore, this is not the only issue I have experienced. I also received a bottle containing broken and unusable pills. This raises serious questions about your quality-control and quality-assurance procedures. What safeguards are in place to ensure that medication is properly inspected before it leaves your facility? Medication that arrives broken and unusable should not be considered an acceptable shipment, particularly when it is being prescribed for a pet that relies on receiving the medication as intended. I expect your pharmacy to take responsibility for these failures rather than dismissing them as simple mistakes. I should not have to question whether my medication will be delivered to me, whether my personal information will remain confidential, or whether the medication I receive will be intact and usable. Your pharmacy has a responsibility to get these things right, and in this situation, you failed on multiple levels. Additionally, I strongly recommend that you reconsider promoting the customer service chat feature on your website if customers are going to receive an unhelpful, dismissive, or unresponsive experience. It is unacceptable for representatives to disengage or fail to provide meaningful assistance simply because they do not want to address a particular issue with a paying customer.

I got a prescription for my dog and the tablets are very hard (so it is very difficult to crush or even break in half) and they are HUGE compared to the last pharmacy that compounded this rx and I know it will be a trial trying to get him to take these twice a day. And another aggravating thing is the giant bottle that they sent it in that is at least 3-4 times too big for the prescription at and makes it cumbersome for storage and travel. I am going to try to call them and get a smaller bottle that is labeled and I will let you know how that goes. Geez. It clearly says in the letter that was with my prescription that they are open on Saturday mornings and when I called I get a recording saying that they are not open on Saturdays. What a bunch of bull crap.

I have had no problem with Covetrus. Medication arrives on time and properly packaged
