I had canceled autoship orders with Goodfriends weeks ago due to very bad alergic skin issues that worsened after eating new perscription food.. The autoship was set to ship on February 9. Covetrus charged my credit card $148 on January 18 without ever sending an email or the product they charged me for. I called and spoke to Gabriella who said they would give a one time refund but they never did. I called Goodfriends who said they had n control over the shipment and to contact Covetrus. My credit card company told me this needed to be treated as a fraudulent charge and had to cancel my card. Revision on 1/22/2026. After the negative review Covetrus refunded the amount of the unauthorized charge to my credit card. I am grateful at the speed with which they responded.

There fulfillment process is soooooo slooooooow. Ordering is easy. BUT delivery is delayed unnecessarily. I ordered my meds on July 13 for a medicine that my horse requires for life. Unfortunately the pharmacy has to send it back to the vet for approval. My vet delayed until the 17. The label was not created until July 18! And item departs within a day of the label being made. The package shipping, per the USPS website, was 15 minutes from my home on july 22 then shipped back to texas. I received an announcement that the order was supposed to arrive july 22nd. The order was delayed a day and now it says the order will arrive july 23. I called the USPS and asked why was the package sent back to Texas when it was at an airport 15 minutes from me. The USPS call center could only read a script from the track my package feature on the USPS website. Only after 6 days (july 24) will the USPS investigate a package that has not arrived. I thought ten day lead time should have been sufficient. I will call the vet next and ask why the delay on their end. I cannot have a meds take this long to arrive

This is my first and last purchase from Covetrus. They are horrible! I had to call 3 times about a confusing issue regarding the number of items in a box of meds - I got 2 different answers. An agent helped me cancel the incorrect order and place a new order. I later got a email that both orders had shipped - the new order and the cancelled order. Each time I tried to speak to a person had to hold for over 30 min. Oh - and the online chat doesn't work. It says all agents are busy and directs you back to the phone number. The final straw was when I was on hold for over 30 minutes - I opened the call by saying "This is my 3rd call to try and resolve this issue and I've been on hold for over 30 minutes" The person who answered the call pretended she couldn't hear me and hung up!! I WILL NEVER, EVER order from Covetrus and I will let my veterinarian know that from now on I will place my orders through Valley Vet. It's cheaper and less hassle. Seriously - don't order from them!! Update - I got an agent named Danica on the phone. She was great - very professional and understanding. I still won't use Covetrus because of how difficult it has been to make the simplest of corrections to my order. That being said - I'm very grateful that Danica has taken ownership of my case and is working to make corrections. Second Update - I just received my order. I'm very happy with the quick shipping. Susan from Covetrus is sending a return label to send back the order that was never cancelled. So, aside from excessively long wait times, no online chat agents, and dropped calls, I received my meds in a very short time. When I finally did speak to an agent, they were friendly and professional. On my last call I was given the option to receive a call back and not wait on hold. (I don't know why I wasn't given that option on every call) Overall, dealing with Covetrus has been frustrating, but ultimately I found friendly agents to help find solutions. I'm upgrading my review to 3 stars. Thanks Danica and Susan!
