We were going to purchase a home in RG Ocala, FL. When it came to the lease land application we were approached & told by several HOA members that it is illegal for Cove to ask or require our bank statements & that all we are required to give them is our rental history since we are only renting a small plot of land. We were stunned that the current manager of RG Ocala became combative towards us. Terry, that's her name began by telling me that there were 3 people listening to everything I had to say which when I reminded her is a violation of the privacy law only incited her into accusing me of being non-compliant & "You don't belong here!" Never have I ever met such a socially ignorant & culturally uneducated woman. Needless to say Seniors Beware! That your bankstatements are used to keep "Others out" any non white individuals out. Because as the rents will go up they will deem your income not qualified & minorities like me, although I am a doctor will be refused entrance, according to 3 HOA members. My assessment is Cove hires the bottom feeders to exploit seniors who are vulnerable to they're bullying uneducated managers. I'm sure they are & have committed many violations as I seek to sue them for violating my right to privacy. When one of the HOA members gave the regional Corp email to file my complaint, it was immediately aborted & stamped Blocked.

Cove acquired a community in Fort Myers. Raised the lot rent $417 a month and then added property taxes, Xfinity, etc that was included in the lot rent for the past 20 years. In turn, driving home values way down. Greed at its finest! Stay away, they have a horrible reputation! 81% bad reviews!

Cove is the most disreputable company besides Jacobson module homes I have ever delt with. They lie about everything. They will not help if you have a problem. They are rude and hire some rude staff. Certainly not all staff are rude. Some are quite nice but they can only help you so far. When Cove sells you a home they say that Jacobson will give you a one year warranty. NO. They do not honor their warranty. They avoid phone calls and if they do send someone to see what your problem is, the people they send are rude and insulting. Cove is the largest buyer of Jacobson homes. When we first got here we had raw sewage coming back into our home. It took 4 weeks of nagging every day for them to finally fix the problem. Raw sewage for God's sake. Stay away from Cove Communities and their counterpart Jacobson Homes. Find another park. There are plenty of them in FL. STAY AWAY. Buyer beware.

This is a despicable company only interested in profit. Since taking over our site at Kings Park Canvey Island in the UK. They have built on every bit of greenery with new homes. Cut staff to a minimum, including the security. Stopped cutting the grass around the homes. We now have to pay to get it cut and hiked up the ground rent. This year it has gone up by 10.9%. Kings Park was a lovely place to live before this lot took over. Now it is expensive to live here and the site is looking tired and run down. Avoid this company.

Wow. we were all set to look and buy in a cove community somewhere between dunedin and tarpon springs in florida. After reading these reviews, we will look elsewhere. This is so disappointing!!

I am writing this email to report harassment and personal emotional distress from the management of one of your parks in Florida Camelot’lakes Sarasota. Your management team is giving out wrong informations about renting to guests with pets ,making it very difficult to rent and very stressful for me as the owner. I am receiving nasty and rude emails from the management company accusing me of not complying with the rules. They are asking me now for the first time to fill out an 18 pages contract for a holiday rental of three weeks and asking me how much I rent my place for ? regardless of me paying taxes too !! This has nothing to do with the federal law . This is my private home ! The people renting now are 70 years old people obeying and complying with rules in the park ! and they have a service dog ! Your management told me they are not allowed and need to leave immediately or board the animals ! How dare the office tell my guests to get rid of their service animal. They were rude and embarrassed my guests ! Copy email below ! Rules are différent for certain people ! Pets are in all houses in camelot lakes sometimes up to three/house I was told twice that pets were allowed with renters with a registration document that you provide in your rules and regulations . Why I am being harassed and threaten or rules violation? This is how you treat owners in this park? The management in charge is always hiding in their office nose down not to say hello or smile to owners / ignoring completely or pretending not noticing you obviously they are saying in one of their email that they don’t work for owners in the park but for cove ! What is this ? If your intimate goal and overall vision of happiness and spirit of livelihood is your target it is definitely not achievable in that park ! Here is the list of broken/not attending équipement ! Business office not working since several months Computers not working ! Printer not working coffe machine not working or no milk inside . Pool not clean ! full of bugs or closed completely. Birds flying in all the time in the pool and poop’s around the pool area . I have picture in case you need to give them to the health department yourself or I can send it . I am waiting for your answer and I am asking you to make them apologise to me and stop harassing me ! they just don’t care and they alway get away with a lot of issues in camelot ! people are not happy with the management .

We have been trying to have a home built for 1 1/2 years. The home comes off the line from Jacobson and all Cove has to do is the build-on. They hire the worst contractors and all they do is make excuses as the why they can't get the job done. Management in the Rolling Greens Community cannot get these contractors to do their jobs. We have been waiting one month for Grove Plumbing to move a spigot that was placed inside our Florida room. Do not buy a new home in a Cove Community. Do not contract with Cove.

We just notice in Calgary that not only is our pad rent going to $1162 a month! But they are also cutting our internet and basic cable TV bundle. This puts us at $1240 a month and a payment on a piece of junk they covered up. This company is the most deceitful and greedy of any I have ever dealt with. Stay away or you will regret it.
