Greg did a GREAT job of keeping me posted as to the work that needed to be done.

I had a blown transmission and they were very professional. They gave me an price and they came in under that price. You know when you have transmission issue it can get very expensive. But they are very fair. I even had a problem with another part of the car that I did not know was failing. Well, when I went to pick it up, Greg raised my car and showed me was was happening and I was able to fix it.

Good guys and very thorough. It was hard to make a decision about what to repair because so much information was presented at once, but the guys are great at giving a written itemization of problems and the cost to fix. They even worked with me in paying off a big repair over a few weeks with no interest or surcharge. That was convenient.

I drive an old 1997 Honda Accord. My transmission went out on my home after work one Friday afternoon. I thought my car was done for good. I towed my car to the closest shop, but they didn't do transmission work. They referred me to Cottman. I called Cottman early Saturday morning, and they said AAA can tow my car in and they can take a look. It was mid afternoon when they called back; turned out that I would need either a new transmission or have it rebuilt, also needed my engine mount replaced. I went with the transmission rebuild and engine mount. They finished the job on Monday and I was back on the road Tuesday. They also had me come back a week later to check the car and everything was running great. It has been about 6 months since they rebuilt my transmission and my car runs like it were brand new. I thank these guys for bringing my old 1997 Honda Accord back to life!

This was my second experience with Cottman. They replaced my transmission 3 years ago. Had to bring it in this time with a problem with it not going into overdrive. They kept the car 3 days and recommended a car rental company that delivered a car to Cottman at a very reasonable rate. The car runs great. They are personable and easy to work with. Highly recommended.
