Very high priced and the “free towing” is false advertising.

I took my car in for a timing chain/belt issue i dropped the car off on a Sunday and expected to be without the vehicle for 3 days 1 day for parts which were supposed be overnight-ed which we paid extra $45 for shipping. That was a Tuesday early morning they were given approval for the overnight and estimate to go ahead with the work. I didn't hear anything on Wednesday so I called the shop on Thursday, only to be told the parts had not come in yet. They should have been there Wed so the rep didn't say anything else, so i ventured to say don't you think you should find out we paid for overnight delivery. No offer to do anything over the minimum. They got the parts in on Friday finished on Saturday. I had also asked to have the transmission service at least 4 times and they still did not have that done when i called on Saturday the engine sounds worse now than it did before like it is now running on 5 not six cylinders. I complained about the shipping costs and the lack of response on the transmission service. Supposedly they did do the tranny service at no charge and refunded my overnight shipping costs. Two issues 1 i had to keep a rental car an extra 3 days than expected so the $100 they took off my total did not come close to matching the extra money for the rental car which totaled just shy of $500 twice what i expected and the car still doesn't run right. I will not recommend or go back to this shop again. .

Regarding the delay in your repair, we want to again apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, the chains and kit you required were only available on special order from a foreign aftermarket dealer, and the supplier forgot to send the part on Wednesday, as we initially expected. While this delay was not caused by our team, we still wanted to make sure we did everything we could to reach your satisfaction. This is why we paid one of our technicians extra to work late on a Friday, in order to deliver your vehicle the next morning, and even offered some extra repairs that cost us $225, at no additional cost to you. During a complete and expensive rebuild of my transmission, they failed to repair the existing leaks in the lines from the transmission cooler. I took my truck to my mechanic for service and he was surprised to see the leaks because this was the reason they sent me to Cottman in the first place.
