Car was worse after they "fixed" it and they couldn't determine why.

As most businesses, started out good. Left my truck parked out by the street, unlocked. Truck box was opened, ransacked and robbed. No apology or even acknowledgement of any mistake. Then refused to do the work with me providing the part, because they wouldn't be making the additional $100+ on the cost of the part. Really guys? Making $360 labor profit isn't worth your time. They claim that they didn't want liability for the part. All they would have to warranty, is their labor. The part had its own warranty. I am disappointed, to say the least.

I am hoping the vandalism to my vehicle will be taken care of by Cottman's. I was assured that the vehicle was safe there overnight (I asked three times!). Damages are between an estimated $500-1100 and may not even be possible due to no longer made parts. I have to travel to St. Louis to try to get the special louvered window on my Van repaired after the attempted break in. I am waiting for Cottman's to tell me that the vehicle will be covered by their Mechanics Insurance despite the fact that it was Cottman's mechanics who left it outside the building on their lot...... Other than this, I was happy with the work Cottman's performed on my vehicle.

Car broke three times after I went there three times. Coincidence right? Then my brakes went out on the road the third time .

My experience was terrible. The employees treated me like I didn't know what was wrong with my car and would not listen when I told them what it was. I had to take my car back 3 times just to get the transmission fixed like they had told me they did. On top of that after I got my car back there was more wrong with it and it would barely start. I was out of a car for weeks because they were "working" on it and it still came back with problems it hadn't had before. The service sucked and the employees do not know how to handle the situation or talk to customers. I will never go back and would not recommend to anyone who wants a working car.
