Ordered ahead of Halloween and was excited about my new costume. It was going to compliment my wife's costume perfectly for a party that we were attending. Despite having a "guaranteed" delivery date, I did not receive the costume. I called the day after the "guaranteed" delivery date and the order had not even been processed yet. This company obviously does not care about taking care of their customers and they don't follow through on what they promise. Will never use again.

I did research online and price matched from various sites before finally deciding that Costume Express had the cheapest price. After looking at lots of costumes online, it seemed that making the investment in the higher quality costume was going to be worth it as the cheaper costumes were extremely cheap looking. We were completely wrong about that. The costume would serve as more than just a halloween costume, but also for cosplay, but not so sure about that now. After receiving the costume we were disappointed that it isn't even the same costume that is pictured online, or even in the photo that is on the package of the costume. There were many details that were different than what were pictured. The entire neckline of the costume was completely different than what was pictured. The picture shows a collared shirt but the costume itself does not have a collar, which means a further investment of buying a shirt with a collar to complete the look. There are also several accents that appear to be real metal in the photo - or at least a hardened plastic made to look like metal...we found that these turned out to be a super cheap rubber which moves when you move, completely ruining the look...it looks nothing like real metal- the color isn't even right. For the price ($111 after discounts), we anticipated that the costume would be of much higher quality than what it turned out to be...not much better than the cheap costumes you can buy in the store for $30. We even had to pay an additional $10 for shipping due to where we live after the shipping calculator had originally told us the shipping would be free. We definitely will not be shopping this site ever again.
