I ordered Halloween costumes on 10/10/15. I was promised costumes by 10/26/15. The order was stalled by a pre sell item that was due in by 10/16/15. The order was not shipping after that date so I called, I waited 65 minutes and then connected with another caller waiting in line instead of a representative. I then live chatted with a representative, was guaranteed it would be there on 10/26. I then emailed, I was advised they would overnight it when available. When I called on 10/26, I was told they needed my credit card info again and would not get me the costumes in time for Halloween. The WORST customer service ever!!!!!!! Three kids did not get their promised costumes for Halloween.

I ordered my son's Star Wars costume and accessories on Oct 13th with guaranteed arrival by Oct 21st. We had Halloween festivities planned for this weekend, so I called because it hadn't arrived yet. The message said that there was an issue and they would express deliver in no later than Friday the 23rd, still no costume and it's Sunday. My son has now had to wear his costume from last year, even after telling all friends & family how he was going to be the costume I had ordered for him. I'm upset that a company can so easily ruin children's Halloween like this!!! Wish I would've looked into their company before dishing over my $$$.

Guarantee date is not true!!!! SCAM... they play you to take your money and still waiting for re-fund 6 days later... The worst was having to tell my kids they are not getting the costumes they wanted for Halloween!!!

I bought from them for my baby's costume with guarenteed delivery by 10/22/15. I called when my items were not delivered and was on hold for over one over and when they answered they acted like they could not hear me. When my husband called he waited over an hour. Then they put him on hold and hung up. Emailed and called multiple times more with same outcomes. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! SCAM! I did call my credit card company's who refuted the payment so anyone else out there with these outcomes fight back!

I placed my order for costumes for my entire family 10/2. They guaranteed delivery by 10/22. They also say that they will send you an email with a tracking number when the order ships out. When I heard nothing by 10/21 I gave them a call. I was on hold for 45 minutes before somebody picked up. She pretended to check on my order and informed me that its getting shipped as we speak. I never got a tracking number or shipping confirmation so I called them again 10/23. I was on hold again for 45 minutes before somebody picked up. She went to check on my order. On hold for extra 20 minutes. Then she finally returned and informed me that half of the items ordered are actually out of stock. There was no apology and no explanation as to why nobody bothered to let me know that this is the case. What would have happened if I didn't end up calling and spending 2 hours on hold?! She said they would issue me a refund. I have not seen any credits on my card yet. This company is a SCAM! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!!

I paid express shipping for my children's costumes to arrive 10/21 and on that day the order status said "processing". Called them up and waited on hold for nearly 25 minutes before someone answered. The man guaranteed that my package would be delivered today 10/23 and that my express fee would be refunded. I noticed that I still had not seen shipment info so I contacted them again and this woman tell me that my order had not shipped and she doesn't know when it will! On top of that they never processed my express shipping refund! This has to be some kind of scam. There's no way a costume company would fall so behind during the time of year when they are the most busiest!!! So angry!

DO NOT ORDER FROM COSTUMEEXPRESS.com!!!! I placed an order and paid a surcharge for "guaranteed delivery by 10/23" (the date of an event my daughter is attending). Never got a shipping confirmation email as promised so went to check status online. It still said "processing order" even though it was supposed to arrive TODAY. I contacted service via online chat. First she said it was being packed and would soon ship. What about the guaranteed delivery for today? She checks again and said they are having inventory issues and couldn't even guarantee delivery by Halloween! And yet, their site is STILL taking orders with guaranteed delivery promises. Such poor business practice!!!"

Never received email with shipping tracking info so I called to check status of order.... Asian lady on recording says delayed shipment because of overwhelming response to specials. It says press 9 if you want to cancel and leave your info. I hit 9 a hundred times and the recording keeps repeating. It never lets me record. I've emailed several times no response. I tried to iChat with no success. Come to find out they got me twice cuz then I ordered costume through what I thought was other company not related called buycostumes.com. Both charged on credit card are same name and same issue with them. No email with shipping or tracking info and I paid upgraded shipping. Now my credit card company says by law they have to give the merchant 30 days before they can dispute. Good luck everyone! Don't order from them. Thieves and liars.
