I honestly can say that I will never use this company ever again! I place 2 orders on Oct 2nd within hours of each other. Both of my orders were shipped to Canada on Oct 7th. When I checked tracking for both my orders, 1st order was due to arrive Oct 16, the other package Oct 19th. Great! WRONG! Oct 19th came and I got my first order, I checked tracking on my second order (the one with my kids costumes) and it now says "Planning" delivery date Oct 19th. I phoned Costume Express, sat on hold for 30 minutes with 0 answers or help on where my second package was. The lady reassured me that they should arrive in time for Halloween. Well 4 days of seeing that my package was still "planning" and only a label was made for shipping, I contacted Costume Express yet again (this bring the 4th time), they had no information on where my package was. The lady then tried to pull a fast one on me and said that they do not issue returns on international orders. On their website under international return policy it does not state such a thing as I read to her what the site says. This company was not willing to budge on me getting my money back till I put in a claim through PayPal, and within 4 hours costume express issued me my money back! Thank you PayPal. I would definitely never recommend this company to anyone.

This company is a complete scam. I ordered a costume and the option for next day shipping wasn't available, but I went ahead and processed the order hoping that it would still be here before Halloween. I spoke with an online representative because I waited for 20 minutes on the phone with no answer and she stated she would cancel the order. Luckily I took a screen shot of that conversation and saved it. I then placed another order, this time the next day shipping was available. I submitted my order and went to bed. Woke up the next morning and they shipped the original order with a delivery date of Nov 3rd. WHY WOULD ANYONE WANT A COSTUME SHIPPED TO THEM AFTER HALLOWEEN??? They still haven't processed my 2nd order. I am now on my third phone call because the 2nd one was also a 20 minute wait. I am now going on 10 minutes for this next phone call. I'll wait and they will fell my wrath.

Thanks to this website I will now look at reviews before purchasing anything. I've never had an issue ordering online until I ordered from this website the guaranteed date that my baby costume would get here was 2 days ago (OCT 26) it's now the 28th still no costume. When I call I'm waiting for an agent forever.... Still haven't got in touch with them. Halloween is in 3 days and if my baby goes w/o a Costume I will let my bank deal w/ it and want my Money back! They are horrible. GO ELSE WHERE.

Ordered costumes for 3 kids Sept 24...despite multiple calls and promises by Oct 26, the orders never even left the warehouse yet. They know they have a problem with fulfillment yet they are irresponsibly accepting new orders and ruining this seasonal event for hundreds of families. Irresponsible and just plain heartless. They should be ashamed.

I ordered my kids costumes Oct 11 which were guaranteed to be delivered on the 19th, still nothing. Tried over the phone too long of a wait, tried email box response, so I tried live chat finally I got Ashley then Devin both stating my shipping cost will be refunded, nothing yet. I asked about my costumes and they promised an email with it, nothing. It wasn't until I informed them that I was going to contact my bank to get my money back that I got a REAL tracking number from UPS (air 2-day delivery) will "be here" on the 27th. We will see.

I can not express to readers how absolutely terrible this company is. I made my first purchase on Oct 6. After I had not received the package a week later I contacted a representative (after being on hold for 40 minutes) and she had stated it was in Toronto and to check my local post office. I had explained I live in a city with a population of 2.6 million people, we do not have a "local" post office. She then gave me the tracking number (which I had not received by email as promised). When I hung up and tried locating the tracking number on the Canada post website and it had not existed. When I called back I was then placed on hold for another 40 minutes only to be told by the next representative that the package was lost in Toronto (proof that the first employee either did not know what she was doing, or was lying to me). I asked to speak to a manager who said that she would refund me for the first order, and apply a discount to reorder the package again, including express shipping for my troubles. She had also told me she would send me a personal email when the package was being sent out, which of course did not happen. The second order was placed on October 16th and once again I did not receive the package. With that, my original order was $176, and I was only refunded HALF of that amount. After contacting costume express over 20 times, I was promised calls back to sort out the shortage of money by two other employees. But of course, no phone call was ever received. After just speaking to another manager, he stated the second package had arrived to my post office, which after checking with Canada post, they stated that this tracking number I was provided did not even exist, thus determining I was lied to yet again. We are now owed a lot of money for both transactions and have threatened to take legal action if the money is not refunded by tomorrows date. Buyers be warned, you will not receive your package, and monitor your banking as the refunds they promise you will not be received either. Lastly, do not assume they will call you back as good customer service representatives will do. Make sure you take down names and badge numbers and get the problem solved on the spot. It is a shame to think this terrible company could be still receiving/stealing money from its buyers.

I wish I had read the negative reviews others have already posted. My experience is the same. I placed an order for my children's Halloween costumes with the company on October 11. Delivery was "guaranteed" October 19. It's 26th today. No costumes. Since last week, I've been trying to reach the company by phone and email, no one answers. Order status shows order being "processed." My credit card has already been charged. I'm contacting my credit card to get a refund and have them deal with this fraudulent company. What a bunch of scumbags.

I ordered from this Company October 13th and paid for it express delivery to have it that same week. It didn't come, I contacted them after being on hold for 1 hour and 30 minutes, I spoke to a rep who credited me my shipping of $13.99. I recieved the package finally, only to have one of the costumes be COMPLETELY wrong. I ordered my son a dragon costume and got sent a monkey. I then AGAIN called and sat on hold another hour. The rep apologized, told me to keep the monkey costume and the that they would send me the right costume. They upgraded me for free to premium delivery to have it to me by October 24th. I called again and a rep completely lied to me, put another rep on the phone pretending to be a supervisor. I heard them talking in the background. It is now October 26th and they have blocked my number from calling for them. I had to *67 my number to get through to them but after waiting another 15 minutes on hold, I decided to just call my credit card company and file a dispute! They handled it in 5 minutes and gave me my money back. Shame on this company and all your dishonest reps who continually lied to me. Please safe yourself the hassle and order from an honest company. This one is full of liars who just want your money.
