I tried to buy a scanner from Copyfaxes.com. They had the lowest price that I could find anywhere online, so I did some research and saw that they generally had good ratings and went ahead and ordered. Within minutes my order status updated to money received. I waited a couple of days, thinking that I would soon be getting shipping information, but I was mistaken. After about 3 days with no additional information other than Copyfaxes.com had taken my money, I decided to email them to see what was up. I waited another 3 days and they hadn't replied and there still was not change in my order status, so I tried again. This time someone did email me back about two days later. They told me the price was an error and that if I wanted to pay about $70 more I could still get the scanner. I was annoyed because this is a classic bait and switch routine done by dishonest businesses. Take the order and then claim it was a price error. To make matters worse here however, they had also taken my money. I probably could have sued them in small claims court and won since this would be acceptance of a contract. Anyway, I didn't want to fight it and this still was lower than any other store for this expensive scanner, so I said, OK, I'll pay the extra. They then said it wasn't $70, it was $100 plus $49 shipping (shipping had been free before). This was NOT cheaper than other stores any longer. Now it was more expensive; quite a bit more. So I said please refund my money. They said they would, but many days later, they still hadn't. I had to get Paypal and my credit card company involved before they would give me my money back. I will never do business with Copyfaxes again. They took my money but would not return it or give me my product at the agreed on price until I got Paypal and my credit card company involved.

This site throws some serious competition to all those chain stores out there. I ordered a C5255 Canon Color Copier and those familiar will know that this is no small desktop copier. Its built like a horse an was worth investing in. Although its a pretty penny, the Copyfaxes pricing was very fair, and with the fast shipping and smooth service its worth a look at!

I completely agree with the negative reviews on this website. They bait a consumer in with false understated prices for basic "shell" of a machine. Everything is added on and they even wanted to charge me an extra $300 to deliver the copier up an elevator and wheel it in 10 feet. The copier I purchased was over $4,000 and came in 7 different boxes. There were no installation guides or instructions. When we called Copy Faxes for the same, they informed us they needed a tech to install and to send us instructions. The instructions took hours before receipt. When I reached out for instructions and assistance, I was told that we need to pay for their tech. I forewent a great contact at LDI Toolbox to work with these people because I thought their prices were competitive, but in reality they were not and the machine I'm left with in my office is not of commercial grade and defective. Sy and Kevin were responsive at the least, but I can't say the same in results post-sale. The company is sales-focused and not customer-oriented. Go with LDI Toolbox or any other representative who's actually willing to break down the real costs and service that's needed to install before shelling out thousands of dollars on a machine that doesn't work and a company that won't provide the information needed for you to troubleshoot.

Aside from a few reconditioned small units, you will find out quickly that their advertised prices are not what you can purchase anything for. The price advertised is for a motor and a shell. You have to add, a la carte, everything else to make it work, including even toner (all of it). So, when you end up with the final price, you might be better off just going to your local rep to buy a machine. So, they basically bait the internet with low, non-achievable prices to draw you in and hope that a certain percentage will still purchase. You just have to wonder if that is the type of company that you want to deal with. Suggestion to Copyfaxes: Just give a reasonable price for a normal configuration and build up a good reputation. People are sick of falsity in the world!

We ordered a printer from this company. It appeared the order was accepted, however three days later the credit card had still not been charged. I logged back in to see my order was "pending". I called them, and still don't know why they had not processed our order. They do not add shipping at the time of order. The shipping charges are outrageous, and if they had posted this on the website, I probably would have shopped elsewhere. But I went ahead with the order. Several days later, no printer still. So I go back to the website, and the order still shows as "pending". I'm told at this point that it has shipped, but their website does not update daily. I asked for a tracking number on three separate occasions, and they would not provide it. Finally today the printer arrives, and it is the WRONG PRINTER! It's the same brand but a different (and cheaper!) model. Of course we were charged for the more expensive one that I actually ordered. I would not recommend this company to anyone....pay a little more and deal with professionals.

Kyocera Fs 4200, They posted a price that was reasonable. I agreed to the price and ordered the product, gave the credit card information, They then emailed back and said they to add $40 more for shipping. Need to add this on before product can be ship. With the $40, this is now more expensive than the other sites. After ten days of the order been placed their sales rep (Sy Ryan) can not confirm delivery date , their signature states "WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD ON SERVICE OR PRICE BY ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME!! GUARANTEED!"

They posted a price that was reasonable. I agreed to the price and ordered the product, gave the credit card information, cancelled the order I placed on another site since this was cheaper. They then emailed back and said they forgot to add $35 more for shipping. Need to add this on before product can be ship. With the $35, this is now more expensive than the other sites. What kind of professional organization does this? They made the original mistake, they should honor the transaction. When I submit the other quote that is cheaper, they said they cannot match it and cannot offer free shipping for 1 unity?? In the exact same email, their signature states "WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD ON SERVICE OR PRICE BY ANYONE, ANYWHERE, ANY TIME!! GUARANTEED!" Maybe they should change this to "except for refurbished item or items that are cheaper on other sites..." Really, this is very unprofessional.

I wasw seriously impressed with the variety of products on the copyfaxes site... I was also pease with the pricing!
