This has been the most disappointing experience with a company. We purchased four printers from them over the past two years, along with extended 4-year warranties, spending close to $20,000. While the sales process was smooth, their after-sales support has been terrible. None of our printers are functioning properly, and instead of honoring the warranty, they keep redirecting us to third-party vendors who continue to charge additional fees—yet the issues remain unresolved. Despite repeated attempts, Kevin and Sy have not been helpful. Based on our experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid working with this company.

Bait and Switch is the name of this company's game don't waste your time money or peace of mind.

I gave this company every opportunity to resolve my issue before resorting to writing this review. Unfortunately, multiple defective printers and broken refund promises leave me no choice. Here’s what happened: In August 2024, I purchased a printer from them, which arrived over a week later. Upon setup, I discovered the printer was locked with a security PIN that prevented me from networking it or changing any settings. After countless emails, they admitted the PIN had been changed from the default, and they had no way of retrieving it. I had to repack the printer and ship it back via FedEx at my own inconvenience. They promised to send a replacement, which arrived a couple of weeks later—only to discover that the second printer didn’t even power on. Once again, I had to go through the hassle of repacking and sending it back. This time, I was assured a quick and full refund. That was over a month ago. Since then, all I’ve received are excuses, and now Kevin Revarb (CopyFaxes Sales Manager) has stopped responding entirely. I’ve had to file a claim with my credit card company to try to get my money back. I don’t enjoy leaving negative reviews, but CopyFaxes / Refurb Experts has earned every bit of this one. Save yourself the headache—shop elsewhere.

Tried to buy an HP printer (refurbished) for their advertised price of $499.99 They accepted our order and immediately charged us an extra $400, claiming the price had gone up. AFTER we received an order confirmation. This is just horribly bad business practice. Prices change, and prices are going up all over right now, but you can't change the price AFTER you've given your customer an order confirmation!!

They get you in with the parts and then price gouge you. They sound really good over the phone but they dont care.

Worst company I have ever dealt with ever. I gave it a 1 star rating because I can't rate it negative 5! These people advertise products for sale that they do not even have in stock as "In Stock" on their websites. When you call them to inquire about the order you placed they tell you they don't have the product you want in stock... but are happy to sell you a more expensive printer and then charge you $38 shipping when it says Free Shipping on their websites. The guy told me he could "get it out today" on the phone, but when I called back the next day he informed me that it will be 7-10 days before they can ship. On top of this the manager responds with emails after you complain and then cancels your order. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS BOGUS COMPANY

Worst customer service I have ever encountered. I ordered a personal copier that came without trays. This was mentioned in the description so that was on me. However, I was told I could order the paper tray only so I did. I received it and the copy tray. I did not want the copy tray, besides which, it was broken. I requested a refund for the copy tray and said I would send it back. I received a message to return both trays for a full refund. I gave up. This company does not send Emails keeping you up to date. They don't even acknowledge the receipt of your order. You have to keep asking. The equipment may be okay, but I don't think the hasslel is worth it.

I ordered a Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE from Copyfax.com. There advertisement said no tax, free shipping. After I placed the order I received a call from Sy initially asking for me to call and verify the order. When I called he said I still owed them $28 and change for shipping. I told him (Sent Him a Copy) the ad and process both indicated free shipping and I wasn't going to have them bait and then change the deal. They wouldn't budge so I said I wanted to cancel the order. He agreed and said it would take 5 business days to before they refund my money.... Not happy! Called Paypal to tell them it was a dishonest company and they are helping me make sure things get cancelled and refunded.
