Pay attention to these reviews - they are real stories about the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered an item - they put the wrong address on the shipping label (I checked my order, I had it right, they did not); USPS then sent the item back to them as it was undeliverable. I called - no answer, I emailed - no response, used the chat feature - finally received a response that I would get a refund in 2-3 weeks. A month later I emailed again - no response, chat feature again - yes I would receive my refund; which I did minus $7.00 from a full refund. They had indicated reason for the return - I did not like the style; I never saw the item! I will never order from this company there are many other options for getting sun protection clothing!

May 8th I ordered a men’s hat from Coolbar. On May 16th I received a woman’s black hoodie which was obviously the wrong item. I sent them an email requesting the correct item, or a refund. I didn’t get any response after 4 days so I called Customer Service. After a hour on hold I gave up. So I contested the charge on my credit card. On May 23rd I got an automatic response from them. As of June 3rd still no hat. Waste of my money, time, and energy for a simple purchase.

if coolibar doesnt refund your money in a timely manner, dont waste your time contacting customer service more than once. 1. call your credit card company and say you want to do a chargeback (some cc companies call it filing a dispute. 2. file a fraud complaint with the ftc -i am not allowed to post link, just google ftc report fraud 3. contact your state's attorney general and file a complaint. life lesson learned: dont piddle around hoping a scummy, scammy company will do the right thing. as soon as they dont refund you, do all three. it doesnt take long at all.

Terrible Customer Service! Returned two items on April 4th and still haven’t received a refund as of May15th. I’ve tried emailing and calling. No response to my emails. Tried calling and was on hold for about 45 minutes before getting disconnected. They owe me approximately $200!

I have never been refunded for a return that they accepted and received (I have proof of delivery). Dozens of emails to contact them on this issue and no answer from them except automated messages of we will get back to you. Too bad the customer service is so abysmal since the products are great. Buy from somewhere else if you can. If not, don’t risk them.

Received totally wrong order. No reply to my email yet. I’ve been on hold waiting for someone to take my call for almost 40 minutes now. The recording keeps saying we appreciate that your time is valuable blah blah blah. Apparently not. Looks like I got burned.

The short changed me on a refund charged me $20 for shipping and did not refund the tax for the original purchase. Six times they have told me it’s going to be taken care of by our finance department and yet no reply and it’s been over a month and I’ve done three follow-ups. I’ve escalated this PayPal. This is completely fraudulent.

I ordered a pair of gloves and a jacket and the gloves never arrived. When I notified the company that the gloves did not arrive with the jacket and requested a refund for the gloves, my request for a refund was completely ignored. I sent followup emails and have heard nothing for weeks. If I could give no stars I would. At this point, the charge on my account is considered theft!
