Nice glasses, mediocre service. I had an easy time finding my glasses. When I ordered them, I immediately got emails that the lenses and frames were being prepared and shipped to CoolFrames. They promised more info as the process continued, but I received no more information until I reached out about 2 weeks later. Better follow up once CoolFrames receives the lenses and frames would be appreciated.

I needed to replace the glass frames I stepped on. That is what I got. Nothing more, nothing less. What’s not to like?

The company was very helpful when I accidentally used my credit card instead of my HSA card, and quickly got it squared away. Only thing I found annoying was when my glasses arrived they were full of fingerprints in the edges that were hard to clean. Otherwise the glasses were what I ordered.

The frames were much needed. I had to make some adjustments due to one side being miss-formed. Other than that they were a match.

Ordered wrong size frame. Got exchange in correct size with no difficulty. Reasonable price and friendly service.

Was a little more expensive than some other sites but overall had a better selection.

Used my FSA!! It took a while to get the order placed correctly due to the amount, but the Customer Service team was very good at replying within 24 hours or less, and we got it done. I'm happy with my purchase and I plan to use this site for all my high end designer prescription frame needs in the future.

I have made two orders from CoolFrames.com, one in 2015 and one in 2018. Through these orders my personal data was provided to and (needlessly) retained by a third party -- Eye4Fraud, another Brooklyn area business -- that CoolFrames have integrated into their Shopify payments processing system. This data -- name, phone, email, credit card last 4 digits and type -- has since been stolen from Eye4Fraud and sold on the dark web. My data has appeared in the leak and I know it was from CoolFrames because it is the only Eye4Fraud/Shopify website that I have purchased from. Within the breach (of a Eye4Fraud data backup dated 1-25-2023), there are 104,530 records for CoolFrames orders. We only know this information thanks to a benevolent security professional who disclosed it on the 6 March 2023. Eye4Fraud themselves have chosen to protect themselves by remaining 100% silent regarding the breach when they should instead be reaching out to businesses and their customers so they can act to secure themselves before their info is passed down to be used by fraudulent actors (e.g. scam calls, ID and credit card fraud). ------ My first order (2015) was a hassle as it was misdelivered and I was left out of pocket (over $100 AUD). CoolFrames customer service were unapologetic and told me it had been delivered to the correct address. I would of been able to claim insurance with my local post office (AusPost) had they given me permission when I asked, but nah they had to be a pain and say no (because they wanted to claim the insurance for themselves). As a result, I got sick of trying to chase them up for help, so just wrote it off as a loss. A year later the person who received the package (my neighbour as it turned out) delivered it to me. The second order (2018) was delivered correctly, which was good since I did not have to deal with their customer service.
