I saw the price match promise on their website, saw the frame cheaper on smartbuy.com, got in touch with their customer service with link . I received a reply asking if I needed it with lenses, I replied in the affirmative and stated my preference, then all went quiet, the disappearing act kicked in, never to hear from them again

Having sunglasses that are discontinued on their website. Took forever to get back to me saying that the order has been cancelled when i could have got them elsewhere in the meantime. Very unprofessional

The 20% restocking fee is the reason I will never shop your site again. Too many other great sites to shop and not worth the extra cost and hassle.

Buyer beware - count me among the 13% of reviewers who had poor experience/service with CoolFrames. Order was slow/late to ship. Glasses received did not have prescription lenses ordered. Customer service to resolve problem was argumentative/unhelpful. I paid $$ to return the glasses. And paid a 20% restocking fee. A very expensive error on my part to trust this company.

TWO MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY. The glasses have a very strange etching on them. The center of the glasses have 4 circles, 2 stars and 2 wifi symbols etched into the glass. WHY ARE THESE ETCHED INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE GLASS, THE PART THAT I AM LOOKING THROUGH ALL DAY? Couldn't they go without that? Seems completely unnecessary, as I have never seen this happen before on any glasses. I am disappointed with this experience overall. I am not happy with the glasses. I have worn the glasses over the last 48 hours, and I continually notice the circles etched in. They constantly catch the light and they are very distracting. Looking through the glasses looks they they are scratched...I take them off and realize its just the circles. I placed my order on February 18, 2019. The website indicates a Prescription Order Processing Time of 4-10 business days. This is WAY OFF! I understand it takes time to make prescription glasses, but I feel like my order had taken far too long. After almost 3 weeks I called, the representative informed me they would be done the next day and she would upgrade my shipping to Overnight delivery. Today is Thursday March 7, 3 days after the phone call, and I checked the fedex tracking to find out the package was sent fedex 2 day. I am very upset about the way my order has been handled. As a first time customer I am extrememely disappointed with the slow processing time and the fact that the representative was not 100% truthful about upgrading the shipping after promising to do so. In addition I also am not a fan of the never ending 20% off sale with a countdown timer. Its deceiving to customers who believe they only have a short time to get the deal, only to find out the sale never ends. Just my thoughts. I will never order from here again. Warning. Stay Away.

EasyClip SF113 was shipped without the standard plastic lens used to mark sight line for people with bifocal prescription. Nearly impossible for optician to properly order prescription lens.

If there were a way to choose fewer than one star I would. Original order date 7/12/18. Order received some time in August. That pair was broken 10/13. Replaced under warranty. Great, lesson learned, glasses + bounce houses do not mix. Replacement arrives in late November. THAT pair breaks 2/5/19. Brother clipped sister in the face accidentally. Fine. But really, how fragile are these glasses? They’re kids size. In pink. With glow in the dark arms. Adorable. But should have come with a FRAGILE sticker?! Replaced under warranty again. Received back 2/25/19. This morning 3/6/19 - EIGHT DAYS LATER - daughter simply unfolds arm and it snaps off in her hand. Same arm that broke last month. No extra force. No bounce house. Brother in another room. Call to the “customer service” line for assistance. No assistance provided. I asked for a refund and was told that as the initial order was in July (less than a year ago) that not only would a refund not be possible that they should only have replaced under warranty one time. Asked for manager. Manager “not available” as he’s on another line ordering frames. Asked to hold. Held x15mins. “Acting supervisor” comes on line stating that she’s second in command - very abrasive and unhelpful. Continues to quote initial order date of last July rather than addressing that a week-old pair of glasses are damaged and unuseable. Supervisor won’t get off the the other line to talk to a customer. After holding x32mins with no resolution “acting supervisor” says she “can’t hold the line any longer and will have to hang up”. I ask for a number to contact someone above her supervisor and am told “there isn’t one”. Don’t believe this for a minute. Everyone has a boss. You don’t want to deal with an irate customer? Then tell me who else to call. I work night shift and wasted an hour of my sleep to be treated poorly by your unhelpful employees. I’m upset. My daughter has only had glasses in her possession HALF of the time she has supposed to have been wearing them. Her MD initially thought that she would just need glasses for 2 years but they must be worn consistently to provide any benefit. She’s learning to read and write, learning math. Can’t see well enough without her RX lenses to accomplish this and is frustrated. Struggles with double vision. Coolframes.com does not stand by their products. Could have had a long term customer but instead you’re losing one. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE IN THE UK - you have been warned. I bought glasses from them and got stung for £17 in customs from the Post Office. This was a third of the price of the glasses - I should have used a UK based company but the £5 saving cost me a lot more. I contacted the company and got a standard reply saying read the terms and conditions which state you could be liable for customs. If this was predominant by the shopping basket then I would not have bought. I have been stung so avoid or factor in about a third of the cost on top of the glasses for final cost.
