The service was pretty efficient. However, after I placed my order I was sent a $30 voucher with an extremely short timeframe. I hadn't even receivedmy first pair of glasses by then. Also, since the return-exchange policy is so stringent, I wasn't at all confident about making another purchase, even with a discount.

They have largest selection of designer frames. Talking with optician takes a bit effort and a few calls. To enhance the order process it would be great to be able to upload your prescription to your account profile rather that emailing it and waiting for a response.

Could call company and speak to a real person. Original price didn’t include all items on my prescription. Delivery time took a little longer than I expected. But they bumped delivery status up to priority. I would order from them again.

I have to admit that I was very skeptical about placing an order with Coolframes after reading all the bad reviews, but I just received my order and am overall very happy with my experience. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: - They had the best price for the Saint Laurent Mica sunglasses I wanted - $362 CDN vs $510 CDN retail - Payment via Sezzle - so nice to spread out the payment for a large ticket item like this - Ease of site navigation - Customer service response time via email - Gina got back to me within 24 hours - Fast, free shipping. My sunglasses arrived within 7 days of placing my order… which is good considering they are coming from the U.S. Cons: - Presents as a .ca website leading buyers to believe there won’t be any duties on their orders shipped from NY… I paid $45.65 extra in duties so $407 total for the SL Mica’s which is still cheaper than the $510 CDN retail. I expected to pay duties after reading other reviews though. Maybe even just added a little note for CDN customers that duties are to expected would be nice. - Order updates via email; especially shipping times and tracking info. I had to call their customer service to receive my tracking number. My order was marked (complete) in my customer account when I hadn’t received my sunglasses. Why send a link to track your order if you aren’t going to provide a tracking number? - They should consider adding a ‘try-on’ feature on their site. Most online glasses retailers have this as an option and it would probably lead to more sales. Overall I would definitely order from coolframes again. They have great discounted designer sunglass frames. I can’t speak to the prescription side of things, so buyer beware in that department.
