Ordered from coolframes.CA, so naturally assumed I wouldn't receive duties. Wrong... was still managed to get hit with duties in which case I never would have ordered from your site. Super deceptive given the url itself is ".ca". I paid almost $50 for express shipping (fastest available option).... the glasses still took 5 BUSINESS days from the time they were shipped until I received them (Nov 20th = shipped, Nov 27 = delivered)... what did I pay for exactly? Lastly and most importantly, I didn't order the antiglare coating (ordering glasses online - how would I know?). These glasses are essentially useless now. No one will add the anti-glare coating since they're already polished and I've since learnt its terrible, and can be DANGEROUS for your eyes to have without..... Absolutely terrible experience. If I could give 0 stars. I would.

Your website is confusing even to your staff. I bought what I thought was one type of sunglass clip, only to be sent another. The problem was that two different styles of clip are on the same record, but the staff refused to acknowledge that. Instead they insisted I had misordered. I even sent the UPC for the item I actually wanted but they refused to look at that. With postage and a restocking fee it wasn’t worth sending back for a refund. Terrible service.

They sent me broken glasses and wanted me to pay to have them repaired. Do not buy on this site.

They sent me the wrong size frames then I ordered. I emailed them and they refused to admit they sent the wrong size. They said they would exchange them for the correct size but I had to pay return shipping and a processing fee. I argued with them because it was their fault. The frames, receipt and screen shot of what I ordered show 3 different sizes. After telling them this they still didn't care. Horrible customer service! Now after returning my frames and paying their stupid fee for their mistake I get an email saying the frames in the size I originally ordered are on backorder. Now I have to get a different color or wait an additional 3 weeks minimum. Now I know why they sent me the wrong size to begin with. The correct ones were not available. Very bad business with worse customer service.

Do not buy from this company. They are a tiny backstreet opticians in Brooklyn NY, USA, not a reputable retailer of glasses, despite how their website looks, and despite the web address. I paid almost £1500 for a pair of Cartier glasses and they sent me FAKES. It took me a month to get my money back through PayPal, after taking the glasses to Cartier themselves, who confirmed they were copies and not the real deal. I'm still chasing the £250 import fees from HMRC. The lenses were also exceptionally poor quality. Thank god for Paypal! They may be an authorised Cartier Dealer, but they send out FAKES. Type "Cool Frames Fake" in to google and read the hundreds of bad reviews for yourself. Reply: My problem is that you sent me bogus glasses for £1500 and thought you could get away with it because you're across the Atlantic. You are fraudsters and scammers and nothing more. I can assure you that the glasses are poor quality fakes and I've seen better sold on beaches in Spain. I hope your business goes bust. There's also no such thing as a "Paypal Authorised Dealer" Yet more BS from your BS company. Cartier themselves have said they are BOGUS frames.

I order a frame and lenses. I filled in my prescription details and It took over 30 days to arrive which was past the ten days they advertise on their website and then I was unable to use them because the lenses were incorrect. They refused to issue a refund so I end up buying lenses again locally.

I had ordered a pair of Scojo reading glasses that arrived in a spectacle case with the lenses unmounted and packed separately! Coolframes were unapologetic and unresponsive,despite 2 phone calls and 5 e-mails that included requested photos x2.They denied any responsibility,attributing the loose lenses to "shipping damage" in transit...this despite the fact that the lenses were lying loose in the shipping box and not in the closed spectacle case with the frames! They offered me either a $5.00 refund on the lenses,or a "free repair"as long as i was willing to pay $24.00 for return and back international shipping to canada! They refused to accept responsibility for their obviously deficient quality control,and showed no interest in satisfying me as a customer.Despite their "glossy" website,they appear to operate out of a storefront in Brooklyn.In view of their poor quality control and disinterest in customer satisfaction i would strongly recommend not dealing with them in the future.I am ,at present,disputing a portion of their charges with my credit card company.

No communication, frames were ordered 21 days ago and have had no news on their status. Update - got the frames prescription wasn’t correct.
