I ordered a pair of Silhouettes to replace a pair that got broken. They were a spare pair, so I didn’t open them until a year later. Nonetheless, that’s only part of the story. I emailed and said I knew it was over a year, but I thought they should know that I ordered Transitions lenses, a $299 upgrade, and received clear, no tinting. Someone responded right away, asked for pics. I sent pics as proof, and got an email that said it was too late for them to do anything. Then why ask for pics?? Go elsewhere. Next time, I will. UPDATE: A couple months after I submitted this review I received a call from someone purporting to be "new mgmt" following up on poor reviews. She offered to make my eyeglass order right, sent a shipping label and agreed to wait for my new eye doctor Rx. I agreed, and just received the old-new glasses. Eg, same frames with the Transitions lenses as I had originally ordered but with the new Rx. I am glad Cool Frames corrected their mistake.

I took achance because I was not sure my glasses would fit, look nice, or if the prescription would be correct. I was kind of nervous about this online order. Then the order of my glasses took about 23+ days to arrive. Which i think is a bit too long. After I spent $175 for my order I was not to excited on what I received. The website could most definitely be upgraded to show what the eyeglasses would look like after choosing upgrades like tint, frame color, gradient, etc.

The communication regarding the fact that these Frames were not in stock and had to be ordered from over seas was lacking online and in the voicemail left after a couple of weeks from original order date. I wasn’t informed that they weren’t being ordered until I called back in and confirmed I still wanted them. So after I called and learned this I was told it would take another 2 weeks for them to arrive to the company and more time to send them onto me. I also was being asked to review my order prior to me ever receiving the product. The emails were less than helpful as I would receive emails on the same day saying different things, for example: getting a delivered email followed by a ‘Your shipment is on its way’. I don’t plan to order again any time soon.

It took a longer processing time to receive my glasses with the new lenses. I did indicate that I would like for the earpieces to be adjusted back to the "new" settings and that request was not fulfilled.

I think you have a very good product and easy to buy. Unfortunately, my prescription is not quite right with the progressive lens. Not sure how often I will be able to wear the glasses. Good case for purchasing through my local provider.

I broke my old frames, Cool Frames had the exact ones, prefect match, old lenses popped right in. It did take over a week to get a shipping label and then another two days to get to the post office, because I broke my old glasses and there was no custom lenses to be made, I would have apricated a slightly quicker turn around. At the end of the day I am happy about my purchase.

I still haven’t gotten answer to question from 5/1-has my return been received? Call back on 5/2 she said, and when I did that rep said call back in another 48 hours—-really‼️👀

Yes dear Thank you to ship my order but I received it without a small piece of cloth for cleaning and with original logo
