I ordered a set of frames on July 16. When ordering I did not select a lenses option because I need multifocal lens and intended to have them fitted by a local optometrist in Australia. The frame arrived in a reasonable time but the frame did not have any sort of lens. The frame could not be fitted without having blank lens to enable the relevant measurements to be made. I thought this was pretty poor service for people who should know that a blank lens would be necessary. Even though a blank or single vision lens was included in the price. I was charged $35 for the blank lens which has taken nearly a month to arrive. The lens arrived with a copy of the original invoice on which had said that I qualified for a gift certificate that would be generated close to the shipping date. No sign of it yet. I thought the price of the frame was good but the service was not as professional as I expected. The delay in shipping was annoying but I blame the postal service.

Wouldn't recommend - the order was initially delayed 1 month due to stock issues which wasn't their fault. But then the order was delayed an additional 3 weeks without any communication from the company. When I finally received my order it was missing the lens cleaning kit that I ordered and the frames were a different size than what was promised on the website. I sent an email straight away asking about these issues and haven't heard back from them (over a week later). I would choose a different vendor next time when purchasing glasses.

Site not recommended for UK purchases Any purchases out of country ie from UK will incur a customs charge that is indicated but embedded in the terms and conditions - not easily found! Assume £25 extra for this if buying from the UK. Also delivery takes about 2 weeks!

When the glasses arrived one arm was very loose. When I tried to tighten this the screw was stripped and can't be tightened. This should have been picked up on when the lenses where fitted.

I was stoked to come across Coolframes, because they were the only online retailer that I could find which both stocked the particular frame I was after and would ship to Australia. After getting in touch via email to confirm that they had the frame in stock, I ordered the frame. A customer sales representative got in touch to confirm that I wanted a certain option because it was not specified during checkout (skull versus cable temple). I replied with the my request (skull temple) - and lo and behold - when my order arrived in a few weeks - they had sent me the wrong option (cable temple). Not completely sure what to do now. It may be to much hassle and cost on my end to try and rectify the issue. I was also under the impression that I was ordering prescription frames - filled out my script, but the glasses that arrived aren't script. Ordering glasses online is always going to be a bit tricky - but if I needed to order glasses online again, I would probably not give them the benefit of the doubt. 2/15 would not do business again.

Wrong color frames shipped to me. Wanted to return for a full refund but was told I had to pay 20% restocking fee! Had to open a PayPal case to get a full refund.

I ordered prescription sunglasses. The website was confusing and although I had input all of my prescription details the order did not show them. I emailed minutes after my order was created to double check that my prescription details were included. I got an email response 2 weeks later saying no. I called as I now had a useless pair of sunglasses being delivered. I was told they were sorry but when they emailed me back it had got stuck in their sent folder. And to top it all is was another 85$ for the prescription lenses I needed for the sunglasses. A very bad experience. I would not use the site again or recommend it to others.

I bought 2 Polinelli P 302 BLU eyeglasses, after I received them i found it they are not blue, but a mix with aqua and black and as they say ..... unfortunately this frame does not come in full blue. Now,they offered I can return for refund there is a 20% restocking fee or you can do a one time exchange there is a $9.95 processing fee if doing an exchange. This is rediculous and very bad customer service. Does something like this not exist in the US??? Never buy from this company again and please .. be careful with your purchase. I will refrain from this company, thought i cound a realiable company where I could buy in the future my eyeglasses. Forget it!
