Hello, You have not left your name and did not respond to a Trustpilot request for information, so I cannot research your issue fully (i.e., I don't know in which country or city you were traveling or the tour you purchased). A the time of your review, we had our legacy cancelation policy in place, which had tiered refunds from 7/5/2 days, and yes, we withheld credit card processing fees from refunds. It sucked, but we had to do it as a (very) small business. However, in 2023, as our business grew exponentially, we updated our refund policies to be much simpler. Now, as stated on the homepage of our website: "You'll receive a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance of most of our tours." If an activity has a different policy, such as 48 hours or non-refundable, it will be listed on the activity page and at checkout. This has made things a bit easier for everyone, including our support staff. Sincerely, Peter Founder & CEO Cool Destinations www.cooldestinations.com

Amy, I am sorry you had a bad experience. Unfortunately, at the time of your booking, our local tour partner in Turks and Caicos had a rigid 48-hour cancelation policy, so any bookings made within that period could not be canceled. We've since updated this to 24 hours, which makes things a little easier. However, I object to your statement that we only announce this after the sale. Our cancelation policy is listed on our TOS page (accessible from every page of the website), individual activity pages, and finally, the checkout page. Sincerely, Peter Founder & CEO Cool Destinations www.cooldestinations.com
