Contact Lens King is an authorized re-seller and provides lenses direct from the manufacturer. In the event a customer receives a defective lens, we suggest they do not throw it away. We may need to return it to the manufacturer for inspection. Provided that the lens manufacturer agrees that the lens is defective, a replacement lens will be sent to you at no cost. In the instance the lenses are not defective we suggest consulting with your eye care practitioner regarding the prescription. Thank-you for your comment David. I apologize for the experience you had with our company a few weeks ago. However, please note that under the "The Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act", a prescription is verified if the prescriber fails to communicate with the seller within “eight-business-hours” of receiving a complete verification request. In these cases, if the prescriber fails to validate the prescription within the allotted time, the order will be processed using the prescription that was provided. However, we understand how frustrating it can be to receive the wrong product, and although the prescription was passively verified and fulfilled as provided, as a commitment to customer satisfaction, a 50% discount was offered and applied to the replacement lenses on 7/16.
