We have used this company for three years now and have NEVER been billed until this last order. I have called twice to figure out what’s going on. Both ladies didnt understand it, said they would call back. Neither did so. I would appreciate this be sorted, especially with a bill now pending. Thank you. WB

the past several months, I"ve had problems contacting customer service to order my ostomy supplies. it seems no one answers the phone, and when they do it takes 24 hrs. to get a call back. I tryed paying my bill on line, and nothing worked. whats up?? I have been a customer for a long time, but this is making me nervous.

Our 13yr old daughter had ostomy surgery on the 25th of July. The Nurse at the hospital ordered her supplies for when she went home, she specifically put on the order form no substitutions. When we received her order there were no drainable pouches, no adhesive release spray and no pouch deodorant included. The belt that was included as well as the barriers we received were the wrong type. We were supposed to receive convatec items and instead received Mio, odd considering the order said no substitutions. We later recieved an email a few days later saying the missing items were being sent out as they were out of stock. Fast forward to today we recived the wrong drainable bags, but no other items that were missing from the inital order. We also were supposed to get 9 boxes of pouches and only received 8, but our insurances were billed for 9 of them. I have tried multiple times to get his issue resolved online only to have a screen load up saying their system is down due to updates. I have called at 9 am when they first open to be told via automated message its not current operation hours. I am now waiting again to try and talk to a customer service rep with no luck. We cant get ahold of anyone from this company to help with issues of wrong items being shipped or wrong amounts being billed and not being the correct amount when receiving these items. After over 30mins waiting for a customer rep again I was told they will have to get back with me after speaking with her supervisor. That initially orders are filled with Mio items and I should have been informed of this via someone from the company. The only thing I was ever told is that it would be a 3 month supply shipped and that if its less then two weeks before the order is due and no one from the company reaches out to us for reorder to call them so her supplies don't run out. The customer rep was amazingly sweet and did apologize for all the issues. I totally understand it was not her fault at all she is just one fish in a big pond... But it doesn't help the fact that we didn't receive what we were charged for and the company communication is severely lacking. Definitely would not recommend!!!!

I called on 8/8/23 and explained I was nearly completely out of catheters/ only enough fo 5 days. Was told that my MD would be contacted for a increase prescription and shipment would be expedited.on 8/15, not receiving the catheters (I cannot urinate without them), I attempted to contact Comfort to get status and to explain that I was now reusing these single use catheters as I had no choice (I’m an RN and know repeated use may lead to infections however had no choice). After 2 attempts to talk with an agent, left my phone number with intake along with a message that my need was urgent. No return call that day. I researched for another company that could sell me catheters retail and fortunately found one, however I was still reusing catheters in the meantime. Finally I got a call back 8/16 (yesterday) and agent inquired if I had received my catheters. Absolutely none of my messages had been documented. I was furious, still am. I’m supposed to now finally receive some today/ we’ll see. Meanwhile I had developed symptoms of a UTI, so went to urgent care and learned sure enough that I have a serious UTI with Gram Negative bacteria, and have been started on Keflex. I’m 70years old on immunosuppressive medications and a bladder infection can rapidly become urosepsis, a potentially lethal condition. Comfort medical has put my health, possibly my life at risk. I just received catheters at the cost of $30 out of pocket, but grateful at least one company was immediately responsive to my needs. It’s a horrible joke that your voice message on your phone number states that “your medical needs are of the upmost importance to us”. What a crock! I am trying to determine my options in finding another DME company, because yours is too reckless about my health and welfare. Rest assured that I’m warning everyone I know to avoid your company like the plague.

Wrong order again for the 3rd time. I keep calling to let them know. And the next time it is wrong again. I have so many catheters that I can’t use I can go in business. And when I called to complain again they told me to call back.

I have been unable to get continued supplies. I have talked with someone in your company every day but no one has been able to get the supplies sent out!

Customer service never answers phone

Someone at Comfort Medical decided to ship my order via FedEx, even though my shipping address is a USPS Box, and all previous orders have been sent via USPS. Someone called early one morning saying "the computer requires a physical address." I said that the PO Box is my shipping address. I do NOT want important packages dumped on my front porch when I may or may not be available to collect them, or in extreme heat or extreme cold weather. I pay more than $200 a year to have mail, including parcels, securely delivered to my post office box. Because Comfort Medical decided to ship via FedEx, rather than picking up the order from a locker at the post office less than one mile from my home, I had to spend nearly an hour driving to the FedEx warehouse to pick up the package. The FedEx people were very nice, and even carried the package out to the visitor parking for me. But this is a major fail for Comfort Medical.
