Comfort Medical is new to me as my former supplier ( Liberator Medical ) left me high & dry. They failed to sign a contract with my insurance plan. Comfort Medical has been excellent with picking up my order and communicating with my insurance company. I hope that we have a long relationship.

Awesome service every way around hands down

For about 12 years I purchased ostomy supplies from a large distributor in Ohio. The process, easy at first, became increasingly complicated and annoying. A particularly aggravating annoyance was a "security" requirement for ordering online introduced recently: you couldn't access your account to place an order without first requesting a telephoned code and entering it when received. This user-hostile feature is unique in my experience; imagine ordering from Amazon under such a requirement! Finally, when the distributor held up shipping an order until I provided insurance information which had been present in my account for the preceding several months, I had had enough and looking for a new distributor, found Comfort Medical. My first dealing with Comfort was like entering another and better world. I spoke with a human being, not a robot or a rep trained to talk like one. My order arrived a day before I received an email telling me it had been shipped. My rating is based on this first experience and may be inflated because that experience was such an improvement over my previous experiences, but I doubt it.
