Bogus tracking and false shipment notification
I made an order during the worldwide free shipping. A few days later, I've received my shipping notification with a tracking from Dhl. The tracking number was corrupted and after 3 weeks of wait, I reached out to customer service from the undelivered items. Their were prompt in offering to send back the items but said that if I did so, I wouldn't be able to then ask for a credit. Once I asked about this part, I received a reply saying that my order couldn't be fulfilled and that a credit was issued. So I never got the items, was forcefully issued a credit and missed out on free shipping. The items clearly oversold, and I can understand this happening, but the bogus tracking number, false shipment notification and lack of transparency is what drove me to choose 1 star.
