Metals that were purchased 4 months ago have never been delivered. Phone calls and emails are not returned. When I attempt to call the company on their advertised lines or on the phone numbers in email signatures from purchase, it goes straight to voicemail.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my retired brother, who sent a $50,000 check to Colonial Metals Group two months ago for a specific quantity of gold and silver bullion. The check was cashed and verified by the bank, but the metals were never delivered. Since then, neither he nor I have been able to reach a live representative. Phone calls go unanswered, and messages have not been returned. We’ve made multiple attempts to resolve this matter directly, but the lack of response has been deeply disappointing. Regardless of endorsements or public affiliations, this experience has raised serious concerns about the company’s reliability and accountability. I strongly urge others to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging in any financial transactions with Colonial Metals Group. It is now May 2026 and Colonial Metals Group has still not honored the implied contract for delivering silver and gold. They owe my brother $50,000, but they are duplicitous and we have low expectations of them honoring their obligations. We would not recommend them to anyone.

It is September 12 2025 730AM I just received a phone call from a representative of Colonial Metals Group in Miami who physically threatened me for writing my review a few days ago concerning his company stealing money from a 91 year old disabled American military veteran. He threatened to meet me in Los Angeles and that he knows who I am. He would not tell me his name

My wife set up an IRA with separate provider who purchased precious metals on her behalf. Over $180,000 dollars was sent to checks to Colonial Metals in May 2025 - it is September and she received an email from a Law Firm "handling communications" for CMG. Big surprise - no one from CMG OR Hitzke & Ferran are answer their phone. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM edit - over a week and two "customer support" calls. No answers - no resolution. I invested with Colonial Metals May 2025 and shortly after received a letter from Equity Trust letting me know that they are no longer doing business with Colonial Metals. It is now September 2025 and my metals have not been received to the depository. I am currently interviewing lawyers in the anticipation of seeking legal recourse.

We would not recommend using Colonial Metals Group, since July 2025, we have been waiting for our Precious Coins and bars to be deposited into Delaware Depository. Colonial Metals does not return phone calls.
