I worked extensively with Jonathan Tarella for personal ACT tutoring, as well as for my AP physics course during my Junior year of high school. Especially when it came to assisting me in physics, Jonathan was an outstanding mentor and he helped me breakdown and visualize all of the problems in a way that made sense to me. He was extremely patient and if one method of explanation did not work, he was able to accommodate and re-draw the problem until I was able to understand. He was truly a pleasure to work with and made the experience of learning seamless!

I was a student who had Mr. Tarella as a tutor, specifically for math and science, for several months in preparation for the ACT and SAT. I am a person who tends to ask a lot of questions and am visual learner. Sometimes I hold back from asking all the questions I need in fear that the tutor may get annoyed, however Mr. Tarella was incredibly patient with me. He made me feel comfortable and free to ask all the questions I had, as well as dedicated extra time after sessions to make sure I really understood the material. In addition, Mr. Tarella is very thorough with his explanations so it was easy to follow his work and gain a better understanding of problems I couldn't do before. Finally, Mr. Tarella was fun and easy to talk to. I sometimes get anxious when meeting new people, but I felt at ease when beginning my sessions with him. I highly recommend him as a tutor!

Collegewise gave me the ability to apply to my dream colleges free of stress, with an incredible team backing me during every step. One way Collegewise prepared me is by offering answers to questions I never even knew I had. When it comes to the application process, there are so many details and it helps having someone experienced to walk you through it. Ms. Lori is so kind, supportive, and encouraging. Having her with me on this important journey meant so much. She provided me with the tools I needed to succeed and celebrated each of my victories whether big or small. I can’t thank her enough! I definitely recommend this experience for anyone considering it.

My family heard about Collegewise through a friend. As it has been a few years since my husband and I had to go through the college application process, we wanted to look into options to assist us. This was the best choice that we made. It was an easy process, we were immediately put in touch with Kate Strzelecki to meet with our daughter. She listened, and understood our daughters goals and guided her every step of the way. My daughter was able to achieve the dreams of choosing from the top of her list of the colleges of her choice. Thank you Kate from the bottom of our heart!

Tanner Rieve did a great job tutoring my high school son for his ACT. He was able to connect with Leo, and taught him in a way that worked with how Leo learned. Leo's scores went up while he worked with Tanner, and he gained the confidence to take the test. Tanner was flexible and communicated well with the parents. I would highly recommend Tanner.

Christopher was super helpful with my college application process. I started working with Christopher late in the game (the start of my senior year) and the guidance and advice they were able to give me on all facets of my applications, but especially the essay portions, combined with their individual knowledge of all the schools, was invaluable. With Christopher’s help I was able to get into my top school (USC) EA and was a finalist for the merit scholarships. When I reached out to Christopher again for any advice for the scholarship interview Christopher responded quickly and thoroughly, helping me secure a scholarship. I can’t recommend them enough.

Our son's attitude toward extra practice for the ACT test went from dread to enthusiasm with the leadership of Michael Cohen! As an instructor, Michael kept us informed of the goals and key points being highlighted throughout the program. To our son, he was more of a coach, thoughtfully leading him toward each higher level of success. Our son left each practice feeling a happy sense of achievement. Perhaps most significantly, he feels he has learned test taking skills and techniques he can transfer to all areas of his academic pursuits. We thank you and look forward to having you work with his younger brother as well!

I had a wonderful experience with CollegeWise. Specifically when it comes to tutoring for the ACT exam, CollegeWise was extremely helpful. Michael Cohen in particular was of immense value during the process. His review was in depth, and was a large part of why I managed the high score that I did. Mr. Cohen was also a bright, joyful presence that encouraged me to strive for the best I could be. Overall, CollegeWise and Michael Cohen were both worthy investments towards a very strong ACT score and a stronger future.
