Jon Tarella is a wonderful tutor. He worked with both of our kids while they were in high school across a variety of subjects. The first thing I'll say about Jon is that he taught concepts, and didn't provide answers. Second, his communication was excellent. He wrote us reports after every session highlighting areas that might need more work and also providing encouraging words. Lastly, he's just a super guy. Easy going demeanor and easy to talk with. My kids saw great value in working with Jon.

CollegeWise worked with us originally when our sons left school and again when they applied to Transfer. Both experiences were exceptional and I would highly recommend Brenna Heintz to anyone. Her knowledge is incredible, her enthusiasm was at just at the right level to make sure we hit every deadline but, somehow, without even a hint of panic… All of her input was so helpful and her calming emails such a comfort. We were not educated in the US and found the whole process daunting however, with Brenna at the helm, it became almost a breeze!

I truly loved working with Nikki to help me navigate my college admission journey. She was always willingly to jump on a call with me if I had any questions or concerns, and made sure to communicate with my parents on what we had talked about in our meetings. Nikki helped me realize what I wanted in a college, and I ended up being admitted to (and choosing) my dream school! My family and I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Thank you Nikki!

Lori was my counselor at Collegewise and she has been helpful and kind and caring from the start! She has taken time to get to know me on a personal level, and she put so much effort into making sure my essays were amazing. I loved how she never changed the content of my essays, only refined them to make them even better so my own writing still shined through. I loved the way CW structures college admission prep since they utilize Wisernet, which keeps everything so organized. Finally, I am so grateful for the knowledge Lori had about college admissions since she helped me structure my college list in a balanced way and introduced schools I hadn't thought about but were fitting for my interests. I am so happy to be going to the University of Wisconsin Madison, and I am so grateful of all the wonderful colleges that I got into including USC, Boston College, and UCSB.

I'm really grateful for all the support Collegewise and Mrs. Rawson have given me over this past year! I benefited the most from all the essay help I got, and while I didn't get as many acceptances I wanted, I ended up going to my dream school!

I've used tutors for my 4 sons on & off for years, but Jonathan Tarella at Collegewise has been the best. He is beyond smart, but there's more to him then just brains. He GETS your kid. He's able to relate to your child. He has the ability to connect, so with that, trust is built and learning is possible. My boys also thought he was great too. My youngest had a terrible teacher one semester but learned everything he needed from Jon. Jon is great with advanced Math and Science. He helped a son out via Zoom with a college Chemistry class. For my family, Jon has tutored SAT/ACT Math, Calc, Chemistry, Pre-Calc etc.. For me, he has provided detailed email updates that include not just summaries, but suggestions that support his sessions. Jon has shared helpful insight if there were a specific problem in school. Jonathan also was very accommodating with his schedule. He often moved our appointments around before a test, looking for ways to make the time spent most productive. Finally, he's a terrific person and all around nice guy, as my boys and I have gotten to know him over the years (since 2017).

I’ve worked with Jonathan for SAT math, AP Calculus AB, College Calculus, and College Biology over the past few years. I truly can’t think of any complaints. First, Jon is a personable person who makes connections with his students and learns their strengths/weaknesses. He takes thorough notes while going over things and writes helpful recap emails to help cement what we went over. The results of my AP exam and SAT test proved how helpful he was, as both scores exceeded my personal expectations. If you’re looking to improve your grades/test scores in any math-related topic, no need to look no further.

Collegewise has been helping us navigate the college application process and everyone has been A+. Jon Tarella and Bob Kupellian have done an excellent job tutoring my daughter in APs, SATs and general coursework. She has achieved top scores with their guidance. Laura Cavanaugh has also provided excellent guidance throughout.
