We used Collegewise for both of our kids and our experience in both cases has been outstanding! Our Counselor, Sam, was super valuable and a true partner throughtout the process. She was incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, with an amazing attitude and great attention to detail. Sam took the time to connect with our kids and understand their interests , and strengths, ensuring her guidance and recommendations were aligned with their needs and career aspirations. Her personalized approach made a significant difference in their confidence and enthusiasm towards the application process. Sam demonstrated strong organizational skills and often went above and beyond in simplifying the process and making it easier to navigate. We truly appreciated Sam and we wholeheartedly recommend her for her outstanding work and dedication as a college counselor!

I’m writing as a parent of a recent high school graduate - we had a wonderful experience with Shruti and can’t recommend her and Collegewise enough. She developed a true relationship with my son and he felt supported throughout the process, and felt very comfortable with Shruti. She gave us very actionable and realistic advice, and also assisted us in my son’s search outside of the US by researching the schools we were interested in considering. The result of the whole process was a happy and not-insanely-stressed-out kid, going to a college he’s very happy about, as are his parents.

Big shout out to Lori Jones for helping me so much with my essays and my college list. She made a very difficult process very manageable. I never felt worried throughout the process as I knew Lori always had my back with things. She also really helped me with applying to Colleges outside the United States (which at times was quite difficult).

We had a great experience with Sam from CollegeWise, with both of our sons. Sam thoughtfully and calmly navigated them through the somewhat intimidating college application process. She provides great perspective on the types of school that would be a good fit, both academically and culturally. Sam also has amazing attention to detail, keeping everyone on track with each action throughout the application process.

My counselor Samantha Joustra was so helpful through my junior and senior years of high school. I am in such a great place and I have Sam to thank for doing a lot of the heavy lifting. Sam both helped me navigate the application process and helped me build a more impressive resume. She went above and beyond to help me when anything unexpected came up and is such a nice person. The collegewise platform is great and Sam is amazing.

Although overdue, I feel obligated to share our experience with Collegewise., which we used for two of our children. Our last counselor, Margo, has been an invaluable resource throughout the college admission process. As a parent, I often found myself overwhelmed and unsure of how to best support our child during this important time. Margo's guidance and expertise provided much-needed reassurance and direction. Her calm demeaner is a plus. Not only did Margo help our child navigate the application process, but she also took the time to understand his individual goals and aspirations. She provided personalized advice and support, ensuring that my child's applications truly reflected his unique qualities and strengths. Thanks to Margo's assistance, our child received acceptance letters from almost all of the schools on their list. Ultimately, he chose to attend George Washington University, one of his top choice schools. This would not have been possible without Margo's guidance and support. I am incredibly grateful to Margo for her dedication and commitment to helping students and parents through the college admission process. Beyond the numbers and statistics, she truly understands the importance of nurturing and guiding young individuals as they embark on their educational journey. Our background may/may not resonate with you but our experience will! We immigrated to the US when my daughter was in Junior grade. She is excellent at academics with GPA of perfect 4 from her scores in India when we landed in the US. But college admission in the US was demanding something different which we had limited visibility to. We were in situation where we were settling down in new country, our jobs and everything was challenging for us. In all this college admission prep for my daughter was a nightmare for us as we had no clue about how can we support her to get the best! We got recommendation of Collegewise from one of my known friends and we took the chance. And we are glad that we made that decision! Right from getting us onboarded to meeting our counselor… the experience was pretty smooth and welcoming. Then comes Meredith Graham.. our counselor who we met in Jul’23. I didn’t find her name in many reviews of Trustpilot… so was not sure whether we got a good counselor but as we proceeded with our journey she just kept earning our trust at every step. She showed us the reality that 4.0 GPA is not sufficient to get admission in a good college in the US. In the beginning she made all the colleges that my daughter aspired as non achievable. This was really demotivating and frustrating to be honest and I remember telling her that are you supporting us or discouraging us! And she smiled… as that was the truth then! Thank you for challenging my daughter then Meredith! My daughter profile was strong in academics but other required non academic experiences were weak. Meredith worked closely with my daughter to guide her at each step, recommended her internships and volunteering of her interests, kept a tap on essay’s progress, suggested her ACT/SAT prep sessions offered by Collegewise. She was always flexible for connect, at times even connected thrice during the week with us. She helped us with step by step process, timelines, preparing meatier essays, and kept nudging us wherever we were approaching deadlines to complete a task. With her support my daughter got into one of the universities she was aspiring to be in! Our heartfelt gratitude to Meredith for all her support and guidance that helped my daughter to lay a strong foundation for her. We couldn’t thank her and Collegewise enough. We strongly recommend them to everyone.
