Ian was an incredible counselor to me. Working through the college process with him made the whole process a lot more smoother and organized. With consistent feedback on my essays and prepping early before college applications opened helped me succeed into getting into my #1 choice of school.

We have used Ian 3 times now! For both my daughters and for my friends daughter! Him and the organization were tremendous! He held the kids accountable, gave them great ideas and information to research to make more informed decisions and always kept me in the loop! When we look back at the admission process this past year, our teen could not have done it without Patti/Collegewise being our all important sounding board. My daughter's counselor, Ali Springer (Alexandra), was the perfect fit for her needs. Ali was calm, she listened, had a solid knowledge of schools in the Western half of the country (we're in CA), and she helped my daughter make an application list that reflected what she wanted in a college. Ali was also very helpful in helping my daughter craft essays that shone a light on what she had to offer these schools without making it sound like bragging. My daughter ended up getting into 8 out of 10 of her picks (including her first choice), with half the schools offering scholarships that we didn't even fill out a FAFSA for. I would highly recommend Ali!
