As we began our son’s college journey when he was a sophomore, there was an overwhelming volume of questions and concerns about the college application process. From the very beginning, Lori’s knowledgeable and empathetic demeanor put our minds at ease. She meticulously outlined what the college application journey would look like and helped our family understand the thought process necessary to navigate this challenging time as smoothly as possible. Each year, Lori set the stage for what needed to be done, where our focus as a family should be, and what my son’s attention needed to be on. She guided him through extracurricular activities, research projects, academic goals, and work-life balance. When our family faced extraordinary circumstances that led us to withdraw from many commitments—including Collegewise—due to life challenges, Lori and the entire Collegewise team went above and beyond, offering support surpassing anything we could have imagined. Thanks to Lori’s guidance and my son’s hard work, he has received multiple acceptances to his top college choices, along with scholarships. Lori has not just been a college advisor; she has become an integral member of our family. We cannot recommend Lori Jones and the Collegewise team enough. They have been nothing but professional, compassionate, organized, thorough, and simply amazing. Thank you, Lori and Collegewise, for being such a high-touch and resourceful rock for our family.

Collegewise was such an amazing experience for me. Going into the college application process, I was so scared and anxious about all the work to come. However, I was assigned to work with Aaron Going, and he helped me with everything, making the process very streamlined. My son had no idea where he wanted to go to college or even where to begin his search. After searching for college counselors, I found Collegewise and our fantastic counselor Aaron Going. Aaron was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, patient and wise. He not only helped my son, he answered my millions of questions honestly and promptly. He was a huge help and I cannot thank him enough.

We began in our son's Junior year of high school and Joel worked with our son through until the end in his Senior year of high school. Not only did Adam get acceptance from his first choice college, he also received 5 additional acceptance options as well. Which, might not have been possible, without Joel's expertise, patience, knowledge and guidance of how to apply, which colleges would be the best fit for our son's career path, when to apply, along with endless support to our son from providing feedback on writing essay's, to completing applications to submission. A BIG thank you to Emily Stevenson for getting my daughter through the college application process. Getting started was a challenge, but Emily’s patience, kindness, and encouragement made all the difference. She broke down the process into manageable steps, ensuring my daughter never felt overwhelmed. As my daughter gained confidence, Emily helped her take larger strides toward her goals. Emily consistently went above and beyond—more frequent check ins when needed to keep her on track, offering reassurance, and providing guidance in ways I couldn’t. My daughter left their meetings feeling encouraged and relieved, she had a smile on her face after most meetings. Emily also helped her focus on how to include her passions in her essays and worked closely with her to build a well-balanced college list, from safety schools to reach schools. She even provided me with invaluable advice on how to support my daughter throughout the process. Her follow-up notes kept everything organized and ensured my daughter knew exactly what was expected before each meeting. I truly appreciate everything Emily has done—her dedication and support were invaluable. She is great!

Sam has been such a tremendous help during my college applications process. She is so amazing at keeping me on track through emails and check-ins, and has such a bright and sweet personality. College apps can be so daunting, but Sam's guidance has made it a LOT less stressful. I was able to get into one of my top choices, and am excited to see what college brings my way! Lori Jones was our daughter's college counselor. Our daughter has anxiety and ADHD. While these may appear as common ailments, we have realized how much they affect functioning of kids these days. Our daughter, Ani was paralyzed and completely overwhelmed by the college application process. Lori was instrumental in working at my daughter's pace and helping her understand the entire process and breaking it down step by step. Lori showed tremendous patience and empathy with our daughter through the application process despite our daughter dragging her feet on tasks multiple times. With her perseverance and kindness, our daughter proceeded ahead and got admission with scholarship to her top two choices for university.
