Good platform, but they don't publish/show bad reviews, which is truly disappointing. I can't find my bad reviews, other users report same behavior. Also, after 3 years using the platform, I never read any bad review.

Coliving.com claims to offer a 100% refund excluding commission. However, I never expected the "commission" to swallow 96% of the booking cost. My experience suggests a deliberate, multi-stage friction strategy designed to discourage customers from pursuing their money: Step 1: An initial refund of a negligible amount. Step 2: An offer of a "goodwill" voucher, lock-in for their services only. Step 3: Agreement to a partial cash refund minus vague "operational costs." Step 4: A full refund, but only after exhaustive and grueling correspondence.

As a coliving manager, I have to say that Coliving.com is a reference in the coliving world. They are very professional and the booking is easy to take in hand. The commission is also very large for the owner and it is impossible to announce an all-inclusive price at the risk of also being charged from the taxes collected. Do not resent the host if you have additional taxes. upon arrival. The commercial policy of coliving.com leaves no other choice.

The technology generally still feels very basic, as though it is in Beta phase. There seems to be a lack on consistency between what is promised (in the policies) or verbally and in writing by the team versus what is received and delivered to us as hosts. The company is doing well in generating leads for individuals who fit the the profile. These are individuals who are knowledgeable, and suited to the coliving model. Response times on WhatsApp and email are rather slow. The payment system, as it is connected to Stripe only, and bank directly seems to be somehwat redundant and unreliable. The commission structure, the payment of guest deposits and the management of these financial outcomes seems somewhat cumbersome, confusing and unfavourable to the host.

I booked a room for 1800 USD, which turned out to have mold in it. A mold inspector declared the room to be in an unliveable condition. I arranged to move out with the landlord, but it took about a month to get my money back.

They have a really good service and a long list of places where you can stay. The only thing that I don't like is the fact that you can only pay in USD. The option to pay in EURO would be a 5 stars for me.

I tried to reserve a few places in Seattle on Coliving, which redirect me to Bungalow.com. The rent shown on Coliving does not match the one on Bungalow.com - there is a significant premium for a short-term lease which doesn't show on Coliving. This is just discouraging when you only try to find a short-term lease. I tried to reach out to customer service on Coliving but never got a reply. Seems like they just run the website in auto-pilot. I ended up didn't use Coliving, instead finding a short-term sublet in a facebook group.

This is a legit site. I booked through Coliving.com in August 2021 and the reservation was honored by the host. I had a great stay. Afterwards my security deposit did not get automatically refunded. I contacted both the host and Coliving.com and they helped resolve the issue. The reason I'm giving 3 stars instead of 5: There is no phone number to call at Coliving.com if something goes wrong. All you can do is email their support team and hope they respond. This is a pretty big deal for me. Luckily I had a great host who was very helpful. I'm not sure what options you have as a guest if things go wrong. More trust and transparency is needed.
