Hello, accounts that have not had funding or trading activity for a period of 6 months are considered inactive. A small monthly fee of $2.50 may be charged in order to continue the account on the Exchange as explained in the CoinZoom Terms and Conditions. This account had no activity for 28 months, minus 6 months, so 22 months at $2.50 per month = $55. The account had a balance of 500 Zoom Tokens. At the time the inactivity fee was charged, Zoom Tokens were valued at 0.0148 cents each. 500 X 0.0148 = $7.40, which was much less than what was owed at the time. Hello - Based on your review, you have been the victim of a scam of someone using CoinZoom's name and/or likeness. You were never dealing with CoinZoom directly. We urge you to exercise caution when making decisions regarding your finances as well as your personal data and only do business with companies after careful research confirms that they are reputable. Never entrust an individual you have met online with your finances or your personal information. Although these may look and sound authentic, they are designed to deceive you. Unfortunately, scammers hijack our name and use similar websites to steal people's money. Some of the things to watch out for: Emails that appear to be from CoinZoom but are in fact slightly different in spelling. Example: [email protected], [email protected], etc. Notice the slight difference in the names, CoinZoom with a lowercase ‘L‘ in place of the ‘ i.' CoinZoom spelled with an ‘M.‘ There are also cloned websites that look identical to the CoinZoom website. Look at the website address. Our only official websites have a domain of coinzoom.com (eg: www.coinzoom.com, trade.coinzoom.com). Any other website address is not owned by CoinZoom. Hello, upon review, we found a single ticket with multiple back-and-forth responses regarding a wire deposit that never reached us. We understand that this would have been a frustrating experience. Hello, we have reviewed your information and find that two-factor authentication is enabled on your account. If you've lost access to the OTP software you used to set it up, we do have a process that allows you to reset it. The point of two-factor authentication is to make sure that no one can access your account by hacking your email address. Hello, we impose hold times on certain types of deposits to protect ourselves from having funds deposited. Those funds are converted to crypto and then sent out, followed by a chargeback or reversal. We also impose hold times to add a layer of protection for customers that are tricked by scammers into depositing their life savings, purchasing crypto, and then sending that crypto to an external wallet only to figure out after the funds are gone that they have been scammed.
