It probably is a good service for younger kids, but it was not a good fit with my son who is a Freshman in high school. I was also told in the consultation that they'd match him with someone who has similar interests to help build a connection, especially someone into sports, but that didn't actually happen.

Coach Kyla was very friendly and supportive. She motivated Maia to stay more organized. Not only did Maia practice strategies to stay on top of her work but also to communicate clearly. Maia has improved submitting her assignments on time at school. We are thankful to Kayla and the Coachbit team!

My daughter started coaching one month ago and I see changes already in her care about her time , building new daily habits , more independence and care for her work and belongings I was impressed by her coach Saeedah not just guiding her for tasks but heloing her understand what’s behind it and the structure of building new Habita . I am looking forward to continuing for more 6 months and allow this process to have more features and success . Thanks Saeeedah and thanks Coachbit.

Coachbit really helped my son learn and develop better overall habits. While the habits generally focused on schoolwork, they can extend into all aspects of life. Coachbit also displayed great customer service, responding quickly and generously to my questions and concerns.

I was skeptical of this service to begin with but signed up nevertheless hoping to be proven wrong. Unfortunately, it was an utter waste of time and money. The coaching started off great, like most things, but slowly the sessions became less frequent. Whereas the texting dynamic which is the primary modus operandi for coach sessions seemed appropriate in the beginning, it shortly became clear that there is simply a lack of dedication to my child. Too times, text messages were sent with no response or the session fizzles out like a text conversation between friends. There were no options for video calls or something else to focus and actually provide some structure in a dedicated environment to coach my child and the final month of the 6 months I signed up for was the worst one. I’m almost certain, my daughter interacted with her coach no more than 5 times the entire month. Right before the end of the 6 month agreement, we get a progress report email stating how much our child has done which was bizarre because we had sent emails requesting updates prior to this and received no response. The best part of this is, we were charged for another 6 months of service after Coachbit sent a single email giving us a 72 hour window to tell them we do not want the service. I found this to be so utterly bizarre because my spouse was hospitalized during this time and simply wasn’t checking her email!! When we confronted Coachbit on this, they simply redirected us to the Ts and Cs and let us know they can charge us whenever. I would presume they would call or put in a bit more effort to ensure we we’re pleased with the service but nah, the Ts and Cs give them the power to charge us as they see fit. I find it quite deplorable to take advantage of parents looking for real help for their children. In my experience, coachbit is not concerned about the well-being or advancement of the children they purport to help. They simply want your credit card information so they can charge you until you say no more. It’s just another schtick to make a quick buck.

I have not written two reviews. This is my sole review and Coachbit has again attempted to discredit me and my family by indicating that I gave a second review. Trustpilot does not allow multiple reviews so please note that any other review that they are trying to slyly incorporate with mine is an indication of how dishonest this company is. Original review: Not worth it, company is literally only concerned with their ability to charge you without any real concern or interest in your child, your child’s progress, well-being, etc. We signed up for 6-months, the coaching became inconsistent and absolutely no one ever actually answers their one robo phone. After 6 months we were charged again for their services even though we had absolutely zero intention of continuing since the “coach” does the absolutely bare minimum. Coachbit only responded that they have every right to take our money based on their T&C. No inquiry into our child, no inquiry into our concerns. No inquiry or insight into our experience with them. And now they are refusing to cancel and refund us for not continuing. Based on cost, awful client service and money loopholes, I would advise you stay as far away from this company as possible. There are other services that are much less scammy that also SINCERELY care about your child.

The onboarding process needs a lot of work. Emails kept saying the parent would have an opportunity to speak with someone before their child was coached. It took multiple attempts to set that up and then the representative had no idea what we were getting together to talk about. She just read from a script about the benefits of the service. Also, we were under the impression that the coaching time would be like a face to face video call but it just texting. Hard for my kid to make a real connection that way. Overall I'm pretty disappointed with an experience that I had a lot of hope for.

We have had an excellent experience with Coachbit. My teen’s coaches have been wonderful and I can go back to being a parent. I am so grateful. It is truly a worthwhile investment.
