I've only done a few escape rooms at this point but I didn't enjoy the villain's lair. There are some videos that play a single time in the beginning that you can miss that don't really add anything to the experience and are more annoying than anything. The host blurts out hints without prompt which is really grating. There is some really interesting level design, but at the same time, some of the props were very cheap. I definitely won't be going back but it wasn't the worst.

Hi there, this is Nick (the manager). I'm sorry to hear that you did not really enjoy your experience in the Villains Lair room. I can assure you that this is not typical of our customers experience (if you Google search our company name, you'll notice on pretty much any review platform we have a near-perfect five star rating). That being said, I do consider your complaints to be valid ones, and in regards to the host, I have already spoken with her about the possibility that she may have given away too much information during your game. This has not been a problem with her in the past, but she is definitely aware to keep a closer eye on this for future games. In regards to your complaints about the game itself, although we have not had many complaints about the videos, since it really does lend itself towards the back story of the game, and is directly linked to a specific puzzle with in the room, I will definitely take your comment into consideration for any possible near future upgrades. In regards to the props within the room, I personally would have to disagree that the items themselves are "cheap". We definitely did make a point to acquire props that best fit the theme, and would be durable enough to handle multiple daily wear from hundreds of customers. And in addition to that, whenever an item gets overly worn, we immediately replace it with our backups. All that being said, I'm definitely saddened that your experience with us was not 100% satisfactory, and I would love to offer you a steep discount to return and try one of our other three rooms so that we can redeem your experience at our escape room. Fine! We visited this wonderful room a few weeks ago. Impressions remained positive. Very interesting quests. There are no trivial decisions that even 10 children will understand. I advise everyone! Great pastime.
