Pretty awful from beginning to finish. When I first signed up it said no credit card details required but of course it then made me put one in. All I wanted it was to track time for two projects to test the waters and it made me upgrade at least TWICE after I have already started tracking, because there was a limit to how much time entries you can do or something?? It went from $9 a month to the last suggested price of $29 to which I went fk this. Couldn't have clearly told me there is a limit before I was asked to upgrade? The platform was confusing and convoluted to use so I wasn't really happy with it as it is. Then when I went to cancel they could not have made it harder. Like make it more confusing to cancel please. Just another greedy tech company it seems.

I endured slow service over time but the lies and gaslighting were another. They use outsourced, offshoring for help and don't explain the staffing limitations. The system has become a complicated mess. When i decided to stop using the paid version, my information was locked out. It's also hard to download your data and migrate. Much of the information was not there. There were filtrations on which couldn't notice resulting in records being deleted. There are better platforms around and at least more honest operators.

In general - UI looks good, Automation is simple But: 1) Task opening in browser is slow. Annoying splash animation 2) Please stop terminating user sessions the next day. I open many tabs to work with the next day, but discover my session has ended. When I log in again, all tabs redirect to the main dashboard - I must find them all over again. This costs me hours and I may miss tasks to complete and review. (Issue was reported in 2023) Are you even use your own product?

STAY CLEAR Once you have more than one user in the system ClickUp will lock you out of your data allowing users to create private content that the OWNER cannot access. This makes it too RISK prone for business. WAIT FOR CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS!!!!! as someone has missed a task and noone else has visibility. ClickUp account managers, support etc are not listened too and cannot help.

ClickUp’s pricing is a complete rip-off. 1. I had to upgrade my entire team account because they dont offer individual upgrades, which feels like a scam tactic to force upgrading the whole account when it isnt necessary 2. Even after upgrading, they charge extra add-ons per user. to access their ai feature, you have to pay an additional $15 per user — on top of the $12 per user we’re already paying for the upgrade. The pricing structure is completely rip off for a project management tool

It is a nice pm tool but they are hiding simple features in their plus packages in order to force people to upgrade. On business package we lost basic features like subtasks and timesheet viewability All in all it is mainly a PM tool and should be judged and be priced as such (no matter what custom things they are trying to sell you)

Hacker used ClickUp API to steal all of our data and clickup refuses to give us logs saying we need a court order. Why would we need a court order when Audt logs are an enterprise feature and it's our own account? We offered to pay for it. I am almost certain ClickUp is in on the data-stealing scam. I will be contacting our attorney and taking them to court.

we are still using click up but we are planning to change this tool for something that make any sens to the team. how acceptable is that you can't even normally prioritise tasks without tons of bugs or that team will still see a different order of the priorities. not even mentioning that closing tasks works randomly - you never know if the task will appear at the beggining or at the bottom of the list. we raise tons of issues with them and no answer - they just asked us to do QA for them and to give them exact bug stories to fix rather than being proactive and ask for a session online to demonstrate all the problems. This company is not interested to make the tool any better I'm afraid. Choose a different tool. Support please do not respond that you will fix any problem for us - too long waiting for your improvements, so not a chance.
