I've been a loyal user of ClickMagick for quite some time now, but I can't help but express my frustration with recent developments. Ever since the campaign overview in ClickMagick was restricted, the tool has become utterly useless. Now, I can't access campaign data as frequently as I need to, especially when it comes to scaling campaigns. It's a major hindrance.
What's even more infuriating is that I recently committed to a yearly membership, only to be blindsided by these limitations. ClickMagick seems to be deteriorating steadily, and instead of enhancing their service, they've chosen to enforce these unnecessary restrictions. Why not adjust the prices instead of implementing such nonsensical changes?
Overall, I'm thoroughly disappointed with ClickMagick's direction. It's becoming increasingly clear that they prioritize profit over user experience. Unless significant improvements are made, I'll be exploring alternative solutions for my campaign tracking needs.

I'm sorry but there seems to be a lot of confusion here. Nothing has been "restricted." You are simply using ClickMagick incorrectly, and we explained to you when you wrote in how to more easily get the data you need versus reloading the same page 100s or 1000s of times per day. If you don't understand what we explained when you wrote in, I'd recommend that you get back in touch or schedule a support call and we'd be happy to walk you through it.

Clickmagick became a nightmare
ClickMagick is a good product but the support and their payment system it's really bad.
First time I signed up, I went with the $69 plan, the trial ended and they charged me for the bigger plan automatically. They said they couldn't change my plan to the $69 one to pay it and I have to pay double and they will refund me the difference. What the..?? It makes no sense.
The support was awful, instead of trying to fix my problem he pointed out that I was wrong for some reason it didn't exist. Anyway, I didn't want to pay the double price so I gave up on Clickmagick until yesterday when I signed up again, the trial appeared on the sign up again, I put my company card details and the next they I receive a fraud notification from my bank and they blocked my card because of the ClickMagick transaction, instantly Clickmagick sent me a notification that they will delete my account because 'i'm not willing to pay'. My account was set up for deletion, THEY DIDN"T EVEN TRIED to let me use another card.
I worked with them between 2019-2020, it was a lot better back then, now they just have some arrogant people on support and instead of trying to come to an agreement to fix your problems, they assume things on you.
Never again.
Rarely I leave a negative review but this time i couldn't hold it anymore.
Edit after they replied: I opened a support ticket on my account before it was deleted, I also sent an email, I have all the screenshots and you never got back to me, just deleted the account. I can’t leave here my details but it was on my company name the account, not my personal name.
You simply can’t accept that you treat the customers bad, I’ve seen a lot of similar problems from other customer reviews and instead of saying sorry and fixing the problem you guys still are offensive.
Not recommending clickmagick to anyone, I changed from 2 stars to one star for this awful reply.
Edit2: Justin custom SRL I hope you’re happy to know that it isn’t an anonymous review.
Edit3: Liars. Post the messages from my first account. You charged me for the more expensive plan when I wanted the 69$ plan. I told you to charge me the plan that I want and the support person told me that it s not possible and HE said to charge me 100+ dollars or whatever was the bigger plan and then refund me the difference. It made no sense, the support guy could just set my correct plan and charge me the right amount but no, it s not possible on clickmagick.
Also, on my second account I didn’t want any trial but it comes automatically when you join clickmagick. The system tried to charge me and it blocked my revolut card, I sent you screenshots and told you to let me change my credit card but YOU deleted my account directly without responding to my ticket or emails.
I really can t comprehend how you guys are still on the market with this awful support and lies in reviews. I will publish a full video about this situation.
We work with over 20+ digital companies and we have 6 figure revenue, do you really think I wanted to get a cheap service going on forever trials?
I wanted this service to test some basic campaigns and instead I got some cheap weird support who doesn’t wanna help you, they just wanna take as much money from you as they can.
For anyone that is looking for a tracking tool, go for something more expensive but with people who are correct and looking to help you.
PS: you charged me after I told the support I don’t wanna use the service anymore, I still got charged the bigger amount. I requested the refund because it was a ripoff. Didn’t want that plan, eventually I got charged after I told the support that I don’t want to use the service anymore.
I didn’t use your website for a month, I only used it for 10-14 days but you kept my account online even after I told you that I m gonna go use another tool. :)
One good thing, after they took my money without my consent, I received it pretty fast, although I should’ve reported it as fraud.

I'm sorry you're not happy but we already went through all of this with you when you wrote in to our helpdesk. You've had numerous failed payments, your account was significantly past due, and then when we were finally able to charge you successfully you immediately asked for a refund. Then you created yet another new account expecting another free trial, after already using our service for over a month for free? I'm sorry, but we simply can't have you as a customer because it appears that you're either unwilling or unable to pay for our service.

Unable to reach anyone
Unable to reach anyone. No one answers the phone. They said to send an email which I did but it was returned. I am seeking to close my account and get a refund.

I'm sorry but that's just not accurate at all. We have some of the best support of any company on the entire Internet.
1. The last time you submitted a support ticket we responded to you within hours to help you with your issue. If you wanted to cancel your account, all you had to do was submit a ticket like last time.
2. You could have also cancelled your account yourself at any time by clicking two buttons within your account itself.
3. You could have also contacted us by submitting the public contact form on our website.
4. If you sent an email and it was returned, then you simply sent the email to the wrong address.
We make it super easy to contact us, and to cancel your account if you no longer want to use ClickMagick, so what you're describing just isn't accurate at all.
Your account has been cancelled, and a refund has been issued for your last payment.

Data Disaster: A Trusted Year with Click Magic Ends in Unexpected Account Cancellation!
I've been a loyal Click Magic user for over a year, relying on it for crucial data insights. Imagine my shock when, without warning, I was locked out with a message stating my account had been cancelled. The reason? Billing issues — which would have been easily resolved if I'd been informed. Not a single email alert came through to flag this critical problem.
Upon contacting support, ready to update my payment details, I hit another roadblock. I was told my account couldn't be restored, leaving me without my valuable data. This isn't just inconvenient; it's unacceptable for any service, let alone one entrusted with the lifeline of a business.
Support for long-standing customers should be a priority, not an afterthought. Business owners juggle myriad tasks daily; we can't be expected to micro-manage app notifications. An email—a simple, basic courtesy—is the least a service can provide to maintain a healthy client relationship.
It's a hard lesson learned: even with the best of past experiences, the true test of a service is how it handles the hiccups. Unfortunately, this time, Click Magic missed the mark.
Here's the ticket, raised well in advance which speaks about email notification issue, which was never addressed correctly, just a ticket was created. I am attaching screenshot of chat for reference.

I'm sorry but this is simply inaccurate.
Your payment first failed on 10/9 at which time you were sent an email about it.
Starting on this day, a large unmissable alert was also present at the top of every page in your account, letting you know that a payment was due.
Starting on 10/16, this alert was updated to let you know that your account was now past due, along with a link to our billing policies.
You still didn't make a payment, so then starting on 10/23 the alert changed to alert you that your account was now seriously past due, and warning you that your account would be cancelled in 7 days if you didn't make a payment.
You continued to use your account and still didn't make a payment, and then your account was finally cancelled on 11/1.
The only issue here is that you ignored all of this and didn't make a payment.

Terrible, Terrible Customer Service
Response Update: I explained to Troy in the email you referenced why my card was declined, it was canceled due to fraudulent activity on the card. Due to traveling and a mistake by my mail forwarding service, I was unable to receive the newly issued card in a timely fashion to update my account. It was not, as Troy implied, because I did not have any available credit on my card or was "not making enough money to even need your services." My 1-star review is not for your service but for your customer service. Furthermore, publicly posting inaccurate information about my finances and situation in a response to a review that was asked for in Troy's email only underscores my 1-star review of your company. If Troy had been professional, he could have just simply explained that the service could not be reactivated and explained what could be done to move forward. Instead, he made several inaccurate and insulting assumptions about why my card had been declined that were completely and entirely unnecessary under the circumstances. Also, I did not say I purchased a "make money on the internet course" as you put it, I said I purchased a "training course" teaching a specific skill, that recommended your service. That was said in response to a comment Troy made in his email. I will be emailing them to let them know about the service they are recommending and what you have to say about their "make money on the internet course" and how until we are making a certain level of money from said course, ClickMagick doesn't want our business. And, for the record, I am not frustrated with anything other than the way you and Troy have handled what could have been positive and respectful interactions. Especially for a company that makes its money off of people "making money off the internet." If I want to pay to use your service, and it is a flat fee not based on how much I am making, why does it even matter to you or Troy if I am making "enough" money in this specific area yet? I apologize for not realizing or being made aware of prior to signing up that I had to be in a certain earning bracket, again, in this specific field, (because obviously, it doesn't matter what other income I have to pay for this service as I am going through the training) to learn to use your services. Can you please post a response with what an acceptable earning amount is for ClickMagick so that you can save other people the trouble and embarrassment of trying to use your services before they have hit that number? Thanks.
Original review:
Customer service is an opportunity to create a positive experience, even if you cannot resolve their issue. A small customer today could become a big customer with the potential to bring more business the next. Or, a bad experience with customer service, such as the one I recently had with Troy, can leave a bad taste in your mouth and create a customer who will not only not want to use your services but will recommend others do not either. Granted, you have the luxury of insulting your customers if you are the only game in town, but it is still bad business.
Response from ClickMagickAug 7, 2023
Hi Emelie. I'm sorry you feel that way, but we definitely didn't insult you. As you know, your account was cancelled for failure to pay your bill per our billing policies. We explained that accounts cancelled for non-payment cannot be reactivated, and that you would need to create a new account. I reviewed Troy's message to you, and it was both respectful and professional. You shared that you've only recently purchased some type of "make money on the internet" course and that you've spent thousands of dollars and haven't had any success, and while I can understand your frustration with that, I don't think it's fair to take it out on us. Your 1-star review is definitely not an accurate review of our service.

Beware of continuing monthly charges after cancelling account
I cancelled my CM account in March 2023 with an email confirmation. There was no activity on the account after I canceled. However they continued to bill my bank account each month (April, May, June) for $49.00 USD. I didn't catch their mistake until July 2023. They said they can't refund due to company policies of no refunds after 30 days. They were given the chance to make this situation right but still refused. Beware when you cancel your account. Even though a confirmation email was sent you still need to check your bank statement. They did wrong in this situation.
Response from ClickMagickJul 17, 2023
Hi Bill. This is Patrick, the owner of ClickMagick. I'm sorry, but what you're claiming simply isn't true. It's impossible for us to charge you if your account is cancelled, and you only just cancelled your account with username "BillDawson" on July 13, 2023 so there is zero chance that you have an email confirming cancellation of this account in March, 2023. In fact, if you can provide that, I'll personally send you $500. If not, I'd suggest that you may want to reconsider your inaccurate and unfair review.

Disappointing Lack of Flexibility and Appreciation for Loyal Customers
I had been a loyal ClickMagick user for approximately five years, consistently subscribed to their Pro plan since 2016. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, as my business requirements changed and experienced a significant downturn, I didn't utilize my ClickMagick account for two years. I held onto the subscription, assuming it might prove useful in the future.
Earlier this year, I made the decision to cancel my ClickMagick service as, at that point, I didn't have immediate plans to utilize it anymore. It was disheartening to have paid thousands of dollars for a subscription that remained unused, which simply didn't make good business sense.
Surprisingly, just three months after canceling, I had a change of heart and wished to reinstate my previous plan. I reached out to ClickMagick politely, hoping they would understand my situation and allow me to resume with my old plan. Unfortunately, they were unwilling to accommodate my request.
What disappoints me the most is that I remained a loyal subscriber during the two-year COVID-19 period, continuously paying for my subscription without even utilizing the service. Considering this, it is disheartening to encounter such inflexibility when all I requested was a 35% discount, which is equivalent to the affiliate commission they would have otherwise paid.
It is important to note that many positive reviews about ClickMagick can be attributed to the 35% recurring commission they provide to their affiliates. This incentive often prompts positive feedback from affiliate marketers, but it doesn't necessarily reflect the experiences of long-standing customers.
Overall, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of understanding, flexibility, and appreciation demonstrated by ClickMagick towards their loyal customers. It is disheartening to witness a company that fails to acknowledge the financial commitment made during challenging times and refuses to offer a fair discount under the circumstances.
I hope that this review serves as constructive feedback for ClickMagick, urging them to reevaluate their policies and consider the importance of valuing and retaining loyal customers. As for me, I will be exploring alternative solutions that prioritize customer satisfaction and offer a more flexible and appreciative approach.
Response from ClickMagickJul 11, 2023
Thanks for your feedback, although I don't think it's a very fair or accurate description of the situation.
We advised you several times that the old pricing would not be available if you cancelled your account and decided to sign up again. It is just not technically possible for us to do. Legacy pricing cannot be applied to new accounts.
We informed you of this in our live chat with you before you cancelled, and you acknowledged that you understood. Then when you went to cancel your account you were reminded of this again and confirmed you understood. Then we discussed this with you once more in our help desk and explained it all to you there.
We very much do value our loyal customers - in fact we value and help them so much that we don't need to advertise because they do it for us. That's why we have all of these positive reviews above and below yours, and 1,000 more if you search Google.
I'm sorry - you may be disappointed that old legacy pricing is not available on new accounts (I don't know any company that does this) but your 1-star review is not a fair or accurate representation of our service.

My account was cancelled my auto pay…
My account was cancelled my auto pay card being compromised. I'm unable to retrieve my old data as stated in email response ticket no.
Ticket: 179358. I've unsuccessfully tried to create a new account with my business email. It appears the system will not allow you to use the canceled email. Thus only solution is to create a new email account. (Not Realistic) No success with customer support.
Revised: Sometime life happens was out of country for weeks due to death in family. My oversight on checking emails. Still would like there to be a system to retrieve account information and to open another account using previous email. Thanks Aaron

Hi Aaron. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience. Your account was past due for 3 weeks, with no response from you. We emailed you 4 times, and there was a huge unmissable alert at the top of every page in your account. Yet you did not respond. Your lack of response for 3 weeks made it seem like you either didn't care or had no intention of paying your bill, so the only option we have in a case like this is to cancel the account.
