Thank you Andrew for reaching out to us regarding your CleanChoice Energy account. I am sorry to hear that your experience with our company has not been a positive one, as this is never the experience we wish for you to have. Our records indicate that you signed up for a 12 month fixed promotional rate, which was ending. As per your terms and conditions, we mailed out a renewal offer to you for review (prior to contract expiration), should you wish to remain with CleanChoice for another 12 months. This offer may be accepted or rejected, with no commitment. Your renewal offer included a price difference of $0.05 cents per kWh, which does not reflect the 3X increase as claimed. We do receive new rate plans every month, based on the market, and are always available to review plan options with our customers at any time. Please note, at no time were you on a variable rate, nor were you offered a variable rate at renewal. Your current contract was coming to an end, and the agreed upon price for 12 months was expiring. A review of your account also reflects you were able to speak to our customer experience team to successfully resolve your issue. Thank you for the time in which you supported clean energy with us. All of our phone enrollments go through a 3rd party verification process to ensure the customer fully understands the terms & conditions of signing up with CleanChoice Energy. You enrolled on a promotion rate for 12 months, and upon renewal, we sent out an offer for your review. We do offer a variety of plans, both variable and fixed, to meet the different needs of our customers. We receive new rate plans every month and are always more than happy to review them with our customers at any time. We look forward to speaking with you again the next time you are shopping.
