Refused to return tax on a tax exempt order. Customer service was completely unhelpful. Offer to fix it with a return and return and reorder with 3 shipping charges and a restock fee for their mistake.
Update, after several conversations, this issue has been resolved.

1000’s and 1000’s of “Out Of Stock”…
1000’s and 1000’s of “Out Of Stock” items to browse through. The 10 items that I found “In Stock” were shamefully overpriced. They should take down their YouTube video of the crates and crates of surplus firearms so I won’t get my hopes up. Sad

They had a sweepstakes (3/31/22) and…
They had a sweepstakes (3/31/22) and apparently two Claude W. entered and one won. The odds of two people with the same name as Claude, as well as, having the same last name initial of W. have got to be greater than winning the sweepstakes itself! Their customer support just blew me off with generic, scripted answers and couldn't acknowledge the fact that this was an extremely odd situation. This is not a case of being a sore loser. It does, however, look like a scam! Two Claude W. (In 2022) entering the same sweepstakes for a firearm. That has got to be bigger odds than winning the sweepstakes!
I see now why they have a 2 star rating everywhere! Buyer beware!”

This is a bullsht company with horrible customer service. I ordered AR mags. The mags never arrived and classic nor fed ex will do anything to help or resolve the issue.

Great Website
I have ordered several Items from this site and always had a great response. My order shipped early and was always correct. When I order ammo I request to have a signature to verify the delivering company comes to the right address and I am home to inspect it.

On your own gambling.
I ordered some .22 mags and watched the shipping. I was home all day on the delivery day and nothing came. When I called Classic they filed a claim with Fedex and Fedex insisted it was delivered. Another call to Classic and they said the matter was closed. And that I should file a police report and provide "proof" that no delivery was made. Really how do you do that? Now I'm out close to $100.00 and it's my tough luck. I have never dealt with a company that had such a flippant attitude and one you now are warned about.

Lack of accountability and respect for…
Lack of accountability and respect for the customers. No attempt to correct issues that were the fault of the company. Ordered a gun and it came with a different stock and pistol grip and magazine. Was basically told tough. Ship it back for a refund. Which would be fine if it were a toaster from Wal Mart. But it is a regulated fire arm that I paid $40 to transfer with a FFL. Ship it back and it only costs you $40 for the gun you no longer have and ordered. Just plain wrong. They could have made part of it right but easier to pay fed ex to ship it back and lose a customer.

Not worth the lack of customer service, spend your cash wisely elsewhere.
Same as with other reviewers down below. Placed an order of 9mm ammo, 1000 rds/2 large boxes, and it was received on time, but then the fun began. I have to collect the shipment out of state, but the delay has no bearing on the quality of shipping preparation, and THAT is the sole responsibility of ClassicFirearms.
The packages were not sealed to ship the weight. First, they were the manufacturer’s boxes, so contents were displayed for the world to see. Second, paper tape was used to "reseal" the boxes, and had not been moistened to adhere. What a joke. Third, one box had been tampered with, it had been resealed with clear tape over the paper tape (that got stuck inside under the opened flap), and a 50 round box was missing.
Notified customer service and was supposedly working with Jay, but after all the pictures and communication, was essentially brushed off and told “tough luck”. He said “too late to file a claim with the shipper”. No, not the true issue. If you had packaged properly, my order would have arrived intact and no claim needed.
When the email came on what I thought of their service, I told them straight up, it was bad, including all details. They never saw fit to contact me, or make any type of adjustment for the stolen ammo or my trouble. For the value of my order, I thought they would have wanted to keep a customer, but they made it clear that all they cared about was the money and service be damned. I won’t make a second mistake with them.
