Hi Paula! We're so sorry to hear about your mother being upset with the customs charge. Unfortunately the additional customs charge your mother had to pay is put in place by the UK Government and not City Beauty. When our customers place an order on our website they are offered additional products at a special discounted rate and can be accepted and added onto the order or declined. We are so sorry for the confusion, and we hope you love the products you ordered!
