Purchased the City lips plumper and the Multi Action Sculpting Cream - don't waste your money - I'm 54 years old (the age demographic), the lip plumper was just a thick gooey texture and made no difference . The Sculpting cream was the same, thick cream, made no difference what so ever.

They doubled charge my order. My credit card notified me immediately. I contacted them by email and no response after a few days. Somehow I found a phone # to call. They said I must have used a back arrow key but they didn’t have a paid shipping form so I had to cover the mailing cost. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. BTW, the lip plumping gloss was gooey and didn’t do a thing for my lips. The sculpting cream was ok but there are so many other companies that are ethical in their business. It is interesting that on their website, all their products have 5 star reviews and no place where customers can add their own honest feedback. Another tactic that should alarm you to not buy from them. Also, a rant to the You Tube vloggers who allow to be sponsored by them and rave about their products. You are condoning their tactics. I will not buy from them ever again.

I have been a City Lips user for over ten years, and I can honestly say that this is the best product I have ever used on my lips. However, this product, which has always been very expensive, suddenly jumped from 18 dollars a tube--which lasts for exactly 14 days--to 36 dollars a tube. Okay, I understand that women who have a lot of money or who make a lot of money can easily afford to spend 36 dollars for 2 weeks of lip care. But for ordinary women, like me--a widow who struggles to put food on the table for her children--simply cannot. Hence, very sadly, I will no longer be purchasing City Lips. This extremely successful and wealthy company should be ashamed.

The worst customer service ever! I had a subscription for years for their multi sculpting cream which I really like. My credit card number was changed due to fraudulent use elsewhere. Remembering you can’t log into your city beauty account online the first I knew there was a problem was when I didn’t receive the product. I contacted them and found out my subscription which was paid by PayPal had rejected because it accessed the old credit card number so they canceled my subscription without notifying me. I complained so they set up a new subscription direct from my new credit card but of course it cost more because it wasn’t the original price I locked in years ago. (At this stage it was several emails and Facebook messenger messages just to get this far). Next issue was I started to receive two jars per month. One continuing to go through PayPal despite them saying it was canceled and one through the new credit card. Once again I emailed (I’m can’t phone international and they refuse to ring me) and asked they cancel the credit card one and keep the PayPal at the lower price. I got an email back saying they had technical difficulties and canceled the PayPal one instead. They didn’t even check if it was ok. I went onto Facebook messenger and complained. I asked them to reverse the cancellation or just close them both - so she did! She closed my other subscription! So much for feeling valued or them wanting to keep a customer who has been with them for years. When I said it wasn’t good enough and wanted to lodge a complaint they told me to email the general support email that had caused all the problems in the first place. So in summary the product is good if you don’t need customer support

This product does not work at all, got no tingling and lips definitely did not plump at all! Total waste of money, I would return it but it will cost me more money. I feel so disappointed and conned tbh. I get a better result from my cheap lipgloss.

Very disappointed with the line Blurring Wrinkle Filler, very small amount in tube, and can see no difference, lines still as deep, no blurring. Not cheap, I would not recommend the product waste of money.

About a month ago I purchased what I thought to be 2 tubes of lip gloss, and thought I was getting 3 for 2. At the checkout it ended up costing a small fortune. I tried to cancel but it would not let me. When they arrived I was full of expectation, and when I tried it I could not have been any more disappointed, however I thought I would give it the benefit of doubt and persevere. After a week of using the first tube I realised that I had been totally ripped off and that it was a total scam! I tried to Email City Beauty with NO reply, I tried to call them, only to be told that the phone number wasn’t recognised, and every avenue I tried to contact them was denied!! I feel I must warn Ladies to stay well away from this so called lip plumping miracle lip gloss that actually is no better than a cheap rival gloss…! I’m sorry but your Customer Service is non existent, your product is awful and I am just so bitterly sorry that I wasted a considerable amount of my hard earned money on something that quite frankly is pure RUBBISH…!!!!😡

I was really looking forward to trying their Illuminating Dark Spot Corrector but had issue with the following: 1. Their website is designed in a way that makes it rather easy for inadvertent added purchases. 2. Even thought I tried canceling the order by emailing within 30 minutes of purchase plus a phone call the next day with a representative who let me know that the extra orders were cancelled, that didn’t happened. 3. When I got the shipment, the shipping label listed a Qty of 16 items but only 8 items were shipped and there was not indication that it was a partial shipment. Even though I would have wanted to give their product a try, I’m going to cancel/return everything considering the rather unusual, negative shopping experience. After posting my above review, I noticed there are other reviews posted about issues with the company’s misleading, if not fraudulent, checkout process for producing additional multiple orders that folks either did not place or were deceived to place. Additionally, there are other reviews posted about the company’s questionable handling of order cancellation requests. I will not be buying anything from this company.
