Very bad experience in Paris. We went for skip the line tickets and we arrived at the meetingpoint 225 Rue de l'universite in Paris. We searched everywhere for a person with a dark blue shirt but no ons was there. I think this is a fraud and perhaps even our tickets were sold to others waiting in the line. My children and me thought for 180 euro to get value for money. They booked the money double from our credit card. Please dont use this company. Better wait in line.... there will be no one to meet you.... Our nr was LUKA556286 just to proof our story

I had booked the tour "skip the line tour of Prado Museum and Reina Sofia museum " from City Discovery , for Sunday 16 April 2017 .I received the voucher to be handled by Amiga tours and the meeting point stated was "in front of Velasquez statue at the main entrance of Prado museum , at 0945 hrs ." Tour was to start at 1015. We were punctually at the main entrance at 0945 hrs . So were another couple -- they'd been there since 0930 . However at the main entrance there was no Velasquez statue . Turned out it was round the corner on the side. By the time we got there it was 0955. No one there . At 1015 called the Amiga tours tel no they said tour started early at 1000 and they said they had sent us an email . BIG LIE. We received NO email , nor had the other couple . They told me I should wait there and join the tour at 1130 for the Reina Sofia museum. When the guide came at 1130 we trooped off for the museum . There were 10 of us in the group for Reina Sofia --- 6 Spanish and 4 English speaking. The guide was doing BOTH Spanish and English --- 10 mins Spanish , 5 mins English . It was extremely boring for us , because it was SUPPOSED TO BE AN ENGLISH TOUR. The guide was terrible spent 45 mins on 3 paintings !! Skipped many rooms . After 45 mins of the tour , self and wife left the tour . HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE . PLEASE DO NOT USE AMIGA TOURS . Our previous other tours in Madrid thru Julia tours were excellent. City Discovery should refund my total cost of this tour . Because they spoilt our whole day.

Terrible! I had attempted to book a transfer from the international airport in New Caledonia to Noumea. They happily took my money then sent back an email saying the the transfer was "confirmed" that was a week ago and still I have yet to receive any confirmation or even a response from a real person. I have tried calling several times, emailing and still nothing. Do not use these guys they are either a scam company or so hopeless that they are not worth the hassle or losing your money over. Avoid them like the plague is my advice. I will be lodging a complaint with the consumer commission and contacting the federal police to report a scam.

I booked the voucher to Eiffel Tower for my family (4 persons) and they confirmed my booking. I printed the voucher and started to plan other attractions. (To visit Eiffel Tower was priority for us). After next or two days they sent an email where they said that there are no free places anymore for the day which I booked and they offer the vouchers for other days when actually we will not be in Paris. I explained them my situation and kindly ask them to resolve the problem. Unfortunately they didn't help me and even more - I still didn't get my money back. I still believe that they will return my payment but only question by when.

We booked this trip ahead of our trip to Paris to avoid the queue however the ticket booking engine made an error in our booking which I was unable to correct and after 15 or so emails with the company they refused to allow me amend the booking. They asked for my credit card details over email to book further tickets which goes against all security advice. I requested a full cancellation and according to the terms of service I was entitled to a full refund given that there were more than 7 days before our booking date. They refused to refund the transaction under any circumstances. I decided to buy the additional tickets on the day because I had a bad feeling about the whole transaction. When we arrived in Paris and found that the pickup point for these City-Discovery tickets was a good walk from the Eiffel Tower itself. We had to walk past the Eiffel Tower ticket office to get there and I noted that the price City-Discovery was charging was in excess of four times the face value price, and there were no queues. In the end I never collected the pre-purchased tickets, bought five tickets at the ticket office for less than the price of two from City-Discovery. There were security queues in Paris at all attractions and these cannot be avoided however there were no ticket office queues at the Eiffel Tower. City-Discovery is a complete scam in my opinion and I would caution anyone from using this service.

I booked one of their tours to Versailles online when I was in Paris. Their website advertised a price of Euros 62.10, a discount of 10% on their regular price of Euros 69. On arriving home (Australia), I checked my bank statement to discover they had charged me more than Euros 30 extra for 2 people. My complaint to them was met with the advice that their regular price is Euros 85 (which is not what their website advertises nor what I agreed to pay online). Their confirmation email also stated that the attached voucher needed to be printed for presentation at the beginning of the tour; there was no indication of this when I booked. My email querying this was not answered for 3 days so in the meantime I had to find somewhere to print the vouchers, not an easy task when travelling, using an Ipad, and staying in private accommodation. The tour was certainly not worth the money. Better off using one of the 'tours for tips' operators.
