I would highly recommend the tour if you are looking for discounted high end designer stores, it’s also a great way to visit two countries for a fraction of the price. However I do have some recommendations. It was not easy to locate the meeting point from the print off voucher. As a tourist, new to Italy it wasn’t obvious that there was more than one road named the same thing. Putting Milan City Center would have be easier to find. That is where I eventually ended up and inquired about where the bus was. The staff were very helpful and directed me to the bus which was taking off but he kindly came back for us. The coach ride was comfortable and very quick considering and we had ample time to shop (5 hours). However the ‘free Wi-Fi’ offered on board didn’t work on the way there or back. It would also be an idea to let shoppers know that it is Francs used in Switzerland so to get more for their money ideally change some Euros into Francs as all change is given in Francs.

Buying the voucher was easy and the price is convenient. The problem in any situation is that the voucher needs to be exchanged into proper ticket at the London Eye office. The voucher explains this in clear terms, which is positive. However, this means one more queue. London Eye, including the ticket office, is always very busy. The more disappointing for me was that I was under the impression I bought a ticket with Fast Entrance (both the accompanying message and the voucher stated that), but in fact it was a Standard Ticket, so I needed to join the big queue. The two queues together increased my waiting time almost beyond what was justified by the cheaper price.

The guide doesn't accompany with tourists. Hence it takes time to figure out all locations of interest. His briefing initially sounds good but doesn't help Practically. The excursion site was good and adventurous but by no means it looks as if it is a guided tour. The guide enjoys sitting in cafe or hotel all the time. Hope things improve - otherwise disappointment
