I recently booked animal transport with this company. I paid $99.99 to book the transporter to bring an animal to a rescue 4 hours away since I could not make the trip due to my work schedule. The morning that the transporter was supposed to show up, she decided to review the vaccine documentation provided by the rescue and saw that the rabies shot info was missing. Even though state law does not require this, the vendor wanted it and claimed it was in the fine print that it had to be provided. The rescue did not give it to them. They canceled right before pick up and I ultimately had to spend the gas money and time to make the long trip myself days later. Citizen Shipper refuses to refund my booking fee money ($99.99) even though they never provided any service to me and the vendor canceled what I had already paid for. They keep repeating that their policy is not to refund me, even though the vendor canceled last minute for reasons outside of my control. I will not be using this site again. Avoid if possible. $99.99 just to book the actual service, with nothing included, is beyond outrageous. Especially when they keep your money regardless of whether the company shows up.

I was very worried about moving my pets from Florida to Virginia but CitizenShipper put me in touch with a great person that took care of my dog. I got updates regularly and pics. I would definitely use it again

I had a dog stolen from this site & CS didn’t even refund the service charge. Their fees have gone up exorbitantly as well

We had the great fortune of working with Susan, who is kind, professional, genuine, communicative and caring. She understands the "worry" of moving one's fur babies. I highly recommend her she was so great and kept US updated with pictures and locations throughout the trip.
