Sadly not everything is always peaches and cream. As dog breeders we sometimes have to take an older dog back because life happens. This dog came from AZ to NM. The woman never let us know where they were, zero communication. When she finally called and I asked her if she had written instructions to our home? They would get lost otherwise. It's not hard to get to our home and I gave her clear markers so they would know where to go. She did agree to write it down, but quickly began whinning? Like a 10 year old. Trying to get us to meet them somewhere because she did not want to write it down. Upon arrival the dog was in tough shape. No water offered, so he drank so much water he puked. He could not hold his poo he had to go so bad. I would caution folks. Drivers are human. Be careful to really ask questions. The client hired this couple. He spoke to the husband and really liked him. His wife was very difficult. Shame on both for not tending to the needs of an animal. I'm pretty upset.

I have shipped my dogs to and from all over the United States. I breed, train, and raise working K9's for a living. So, whsn I say that not only the site itself is good, but that the STAFF whom operates the site are amazing, I absolutely mean it. I had an emergency and needed a dog shipped half way across the country to us immediately (1,252 miles). I instantly received multiple bids in decent price ranges per the task. I spoke with one of the shippers whom bid, and then we agreed on a price, time, and I booked it. After booking this shipper, I was charged my fee(s) from Citizen shipper, and then the balance was to be paid upon delivery of our K9. Well, less than 24hrs later (and only TWO HOURS before scheduled pickup!) the shipper had cancelled on us by using "inclement weather in our area" as the excuse. However, the weather was currently beautiful, and was set to be continuously beautiful throughout the next week even after the delivery was scheduled to take place. So, for whatever reason, the Shipper decided to back out at the very last minute after we had already planned, booked, and even paid our fees to CitizenShipper. This left us in a VERY hot seat, one that I didn't see turning out well for us at all unless something drastic were to happen (not to mention the assumed headache of having to try abd get our fees back from CitizenShipper)... But, much to my surprise, it was as pleasant and easy as could be! We contacted CitizenShipper Support immediately and explained the situation and have them the details of our account and the account of the shipper. From there, CitizenShipper's staff not only took care off the rest and refunded our fees, but they also pushed other shippers or our way immediately! Just a few short hours later we had another shipper who offered to bring our K9 for not only CHEAPER than the rest, but they also agreed to a FASTER and more URGENT delivery than that of any other shipper, just because of the hassle we dealt with! So, it goes without saying, I am beyond impressed with CitizenShipper's promptness on dealing with the issue I brought to their attention, and impressed with the individial Transport driver/shipper and "easy-factor" of the process overall as a whole. I'm not one to ever leave reviews, chit chat about one good experience, or try to put a company on a pedestal. But, I am just that thoroughly impressed with the ease of use, the services provided overall, and the way that Jennifer Buchanan from Support handled my issue without even a second thought nor delay. I'm not sure what their staff is being paid, but whatever it is I'd give that woman a raise! Haha Ok, enough rambling for me. Just remember: there's going to be a few bad apples in any field of business service based. Just do your due diligence on who's bidding and don't jump at the first bid possible just because it's there, deal with shippers with majority positive reviews you can read from other's experiences, and rest easy knowing that the CitizenShipper staff will address any issues you may encounter while doing their best to handle it as promptly as possible.

Awesome experience

My driver was Adam. He was awesome with my 3 pugs!!! I would reccomend him to anyone. He kept me updated throughout the trip from Oregon to PA. He also sent me pictures of my dogs!!! Great job!!!

I'm grateful for a venue like CitizenShipper. We got a wonderful driver. What I'm unhappy about is their hidden fees to use the website. It's on there, but you have to hunt for it, which I did after I found out we'd have to pay $247 for them hooking us up with a driver.
