Used this site to find a transport for my new puppy. Found a great company!! I feel safe using citizen shipper again!

Please note of all these “excellent services”, Citizenshipper provided none of. They are just a middleman between you and the shipper. If the shipper loses your pet, Citizenshipper will not help you. There are people in here that the shipper left their dog alongside the highway, never delivered the pet, etc. There are shippers who never got paid by customers states away. At the high fees Citizenshipper charges, they should be liable to insure both senders and shippers are treated fairly. But they are not. Their TOS ensures they get paid, up front, but drivers and customers are on their own when things go south. They might, or might not, give you their service fee back if your pet dies in an overheated car or gets abandoned, but the fee paid to the driver is up to you to collect. For the drivers, if the customer charges back the fee, what you going to do? Sue someone across the country for $4-500? “Assist in redress” means nothing. Drivers can bid and accept gigs without a background check. Insurance, at most, will only give you market value of your pet, which will be much less than the value of your pet to you. Providing they even honor your claim.

CitizenShipper was great for helping us find several different bids from businesses and individuals to transport our dog. My only complaint was the fee that the website takes from us for using their service. It did add a significant amount to our total costs. Still, I would use them again if I were in a similar situation. We had hit nothing but dead ends, and CitizenShipper helped us find an option that worked for us! We loved the business that we ended up choosing.

The lady did a great job transporting him. Her text and photos 👍. So why not 5 stars. Because she bid $600 to transport him. But just hours before his pick up, she sends me a contract for $40.00 a night hotel. So the cost was $600+$200 for Hotel +=129.00 for booking fee +$69.00 Tax for a Grand total of $998.00. That is a far cry form $600. She said it's on her portfolio.I believe that when you bid to do a job that should include everything. Don't low ball a bid to get the job, then add extra

Honestly we had never heard of Citizenshipper until we were looking to relocate our dogs from Houston, TX to NY. Started investigating online. In no time we had multiple bids. The whole process was simple, our driver was amazing and we would definitely recommend Citzenshipper to anyone looking to transport precious cargo.
