Positive Experience Beyond Expectations
As a traveling nurse, I usually rent a vehicle for my assignment or drive if the hospital is close enough. This time, I decided to take my new 2023 Subaru Outback Wilderness with me to Louisiana. The question became do I drive from Washington state to Louisiana with my yellow lab or ship the car? I decided it would be easier to ship my car and save on the wear and tear as well as time driving. My next question...who do I trust with my new car after some bad reviews/experiences people had. I put my request out and within minutes I had several texts, emails, and phone calls all offering "the best price." After reading some of their reviews about non-transparency with pricing, damage, and failure to communicate I ruled these companies out. Somehow, I stumbled on to Rena's blog regarding what to watch out for when hiring a company and driver. We communicated several times and I grew to trust her wisdom and experience with her industry. She knew which companies were trustworthy and others she would never use. I think we would both agree it took some time to relieve the anxiety I felt putting my new car in someone else's control. I think Rena worked day and night, including Thanksgiving, to find a driver for the route and dates needed. She found a dispatcher, Dan, and driver, Justin, who picked up my car. Rena continually communicated with me and stated if I didn't feel comfortable with the driver to let her know immediately. I felt comfortable with Justin and he loaded my car in the carrier. Today, my car was delivered safe and sound. We inspected the car and not a scratch or dent in it. All my worries were for naught. Thank you Rena, Dan, and Justin for taking great care of my car and your continuity of communication which exceeded my expectations. I will be sharing your information with my nurse recruiters who are always looking for great companies who can help their traveling nurses out I appreciate all of you.
