My provider was very thorough and detailed when obtaining my medical history, listened to my concerns and goals and made suggestions to safely help me reach them.

I had an appointment booked while I was traveling and since you have to be present in your state of the appointment, I thought it was showing me appointment times for my time zone. It wasn’t and I ended up missing my first appointment and being charged $50. I reached out to Circle Medical via email and their chat feature and did not get a response. Their chat feature is a joke, there is no one on the other side to actually chat with you. When I did reschedule my appointment, the doctor told me at the very end that I need to submit an updated physical per Circle Medical’s guidelines before they can move forward with a diagnosis and treatment, which would’ve been helpful to know prior to the appointment. If I need a physical, I might as well go see a doctor in person for my treatment. Now Circle Medical has my money and I have no treatment. UPDATE: This is in reply to Circle Medical’s comment. The app, which I used to book the appointment, does not state an updated physical is needed for an ADHD consultation, nor is it stated that you will need to see the doctor multiple times before actually getting treatment. When you click to read the Terms and Conditions, it takes you to a broken link, which I have a screenshot of.

Hi Chelsea, and thank you for taking the time to leave this feedback. You are indeed required to be present in the state in which the provider you are seeing is licensed in at the time of your appointment, and the app will only show you providers licensed in the state listed as your home address at the time of booking. That being said, the time will be linked to the time zone of your phone. I do understand how this is confusing, so I want to assure you that I would be happy to look into this case and make sure there are no erroneous charges for things that were outside of one's control. Our chat function in the app is not a live chat, but if you reach out, a dedicated member of our patient care team will get back to you as soon as possible. If you reach out and ask to speak to the Patient Relations team, your message will also be directed automatically to my team to review. Regarding our requirement for documentation of an annual physical, this is the case for all patients receiving controlled substance medications, and this policy is well described on our website. If you have any feedback for how to make this more clear to patients, we would be happy to hear it as well.

Great communication and she explains things well

This place is a bit of scam. I got assigned a nurse practitioner who evaluated me for ADHD. It took three appointments for her to finally 'diagnose me'. Then she gave a prescription for a below therapeutic doze of ritalin. She wanted to see me in two weeks 'to see how I am doing'. Basically, this is a place that is designed to milk as much money out of you and your insurance as possible while providing below standards of care with below average practitioners.

Hi Karim, thank you for reaching out to voice this feedback. Our ADHD intake process is a two appointment process, not including the requirement for documentation of an annual wellness exam if a controlled substance medication is part of the treatment plan. Initial prescriptions are also titrated upwards as per clinical standards and it is standard practice to assess patients more frequently while their dosing and treatment plan is being stabilized to ensure the safest and most effective care. These processes and policies are described in detail on our website, we try to make everything very clear to new patients so that the right expectations are set. If you have any feedback on how we can improve the clarity of the resources available to patients or other comments on how we can improve our ADHD intake process, I would be happy to hear them and pass them onto our leadership teams to be reviewed and implemented as necessary. If you're able, please reach out via our secure, HIPAA-compliant chat, and ask to speak to the Patient Relations team.
