Canceled on 3 times in a row the day of the appointment.
I have been with Circle Medical for a while. It was fine for a while. I had a provider and I was receiving treatment. I was going fine. I have a medication that requires a monthly check in in order to get my prescription filled. The medication works and for the first time in my life, I felt like I had finally been diagnosed correctly. Then I had my monthly visit canceled the day of the appointment. I figured, things happen and I booked another. It was canceled the day of the appointment again. No explanation. Just canceled. So I booked another for the following day. Canceled just hours before the appointment. No explanation. Can’t get anyone to answer the phone. I went to the chat and now I have to wait for the people that to get in touch with my provider. The urged me to book another appointment. The soonest one if August 26th. 11 days after the 3rd appointment they canceled. How much you wanna bet they cancel on me again. I had to take time off from work in order to make the last 2 appointments they canceled. So, other than my time being wasted, I am out of medication, can’t get treatment for another 11 days, and there is no guarantee that they won’t cancel on me the day of the appointment. Again. My mental health is no good right now. These people love to take my money, but they aren’t a company that cares about it’s patients. They advertise as being convenient, see them on “your time” and get quality care from a “modern doctor’s office”. I would advise people to get on a waiting list if you area isn’t taking new patients for quite some time (that’s why I started using them). I would advise staying away. If your provider can’t make the appointment, they will not have you see someone else. They will make you reschedule and cancel on you again and again. I wish I had read these reviews before I ever used them. Not convenient, not professional, and the patients don’t matter. I am being ignored and left not getting treatment through no fault of my own. And you will not be able to speak with your provider or even get them respond without the middleman (which you have no idea what they are passing on to the provider). No transparency. No care for the mental health of patients being treated. They canceled on me August 4th, rescheduled for August 14th and they canceled on me, rescheduled for August 15th and they canceled on me. The canceled the morning of for 2 of them and canceled just a couple hours before the 3rd appointment. I’ve lost time from work. My time has been wasted. I am left with the uncertainty if I even get treatment at all and I am forced to abruptly stop medication and have no way to see anyone to get my medication filled. Absolutely not quality care. I would beware.
Response from Circle MedicalAug 16, 2024
Hello Todd, and thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback. I am sorry to hear about these multiple cancellations, and I would like to assure you this is not a common occurrence. There are a few reasons why a provider might have to cancel last minute, typically due to technical issues or family emergencies, but I can only imagine the stress and frustration it happening multiple times in a row would cause. If you are able to, I would encourage you to reach out via the chat (and please ask to speak to the Patient Relations team in your message), so I can better understand what occurred, as well as determine any actions I can take to make it right.
